First off Ifrit was never stored in a card nor was any other GF(summon). While yes they're were cards and a card game which added a nice minigame, the summons were not cards. Infact GF's were stored in your head after you had drawn them in battle.

Some how I can't see the problem with a game being fun in all aspects. I love a hard game as much as the next person but there are some games that kick-ass because they are pure mindless fun and don't try to be anything more than fun.

@Estranged what I think the devs and possibly newer gamers forget is that Sonic (while fast) wasn't about speed but momentum.

I never felt like I was powerless against a warhawk. I Dunno about the last expansion pack (never got it) but it felt pretty balanced to me up to that. The AK, sniper rifle, and of course turrets were always good ways to take out a plane.
