YES! A Thousand times yes! I want a proper sequel to KoToR! I don;t care at ALL for The Old Republic MMO. I'd also karate chop people in the throat for a Jade Empire sequel.
I'm enjoying Epic Yarn, but you're right; it just doesn't hold a candle to Superstar.
I miss proper gaming journalism too, but you can blame the internet for its demise. There's now this need to get information out as quickly as possible to the masses who're mostly stricken with ADHD.
Totally agreed on the Shenmue thing. :(
IloMilo is just a fantastic gem of a game. Looking really forward to Battleblock Theatre too.
As fun as it is, I still reckon the 360/Ps3 versions should have been $15 downloadable titles instead of full priced retail games. I'm glad it is available to people who didn't want to have to buy NBA elite just for the token though.
Yeah, the brown tint, and the silly jumping out of cover bit cracked me up.
I LOVE the Desperado scene :D
Wow! Damn! I though that was real for a moment. Obviously doesn't look like that in game, but still impressive considering it's rendered on a damned home console.
Pirates deserve kicks in the nads. I think the thing that annoys me most about em is the way they try justify their actions. "oh, making a copy isn't stealing" ..or "I wouldn't have bought it anyway."
Well you know what? It is stealing, and you shouldn't be fucking playing it. Cocks
Damn, this makes me wanna get HP..and I don;t even like racing games. I did love the hell out of Burnout though..so this seems like it'll be just the ticket!
Glorified expansion pack, but a good one. should be lower priced though.
I think Sony forced PD to rush the game out as it was ridiculously over budget. It's still damned awesome though, but certain things, like the online aspect seem to be broken.
Other games that disappointed this year were Splinter Cell conviction (it was good, but I was expecting...more). Enslaved, which looked beautiful but had boring gameplay and Alan Wake...which I also enjoyed, but after 5 years in development ended up being quite repetitive.
What the hell have they been doing for the past six years? What's the point of including 17 squintillion cars, if only the "premium" ones look like they belong in this generation?
Still..it's about the racing, right? RIGHT? Who's with me?
Racing games are just really interactive screensavers.
@granthinds Would you still consider Wolfenstein 3D to be the definitive FPS? No, games need to grow and evolve - or we'd all still be playing centipede on our Atari 2600's.
Major RTS' of today? what, like Starcraft 2 which is *exactly the same* as the previous one, only with a shiny graphical update?
A Gears of War RTS sounds like a breath of fresh air!
did you play Halo Wars? It might not've been mind blowing, but it was a pretty damn good console RTS. Introduce some streamlined kinect controls, and it'd be a winner!
You're most definitely right - but it sounds like an AWESOME experience.
I actually completely forgot that game existed. I kinda wish it had remained forgotten.
