It seems that ms is now focusing more on the casual gamers. They want to get some of nintendo market's share.
The annual budget for developing games will be split among hardcore/casual games.
I bought my PS1 when ffvii came out, my PS2 whith the release of ffx.
Both consoles are still working just fine. I could not say the same thing with my original xbox.

I do not own 360, but I think ffxiii coming to 360 is a good thing for all of us who love rpg games.
It may entice some 360 owners who may have expose to only fps games to try. For anyone who never really plays rpg game before, wouldn't ff game be one of the best to try? If he or she likes ff, then there is a good chance that they would be willing to try on some other rpg games. I wish that both consoles do well.
Without ms, we would probably be paying $500-$600 for ps3 still.
Without sony, ms probably going to charge $50-$100 to fix RROD.

As soon as Sony ended their E3, I went and got a 160G + Uncharted version from Dell EPP for $372 :)
If they drop price to $150 today, then they will probably have to sell it to the store for $100 or less. Retail stores have to get their cut too no?
Umm... and I just bought a PS3 two days ago :)
Been debating between the two consoles for a long while.
I like the features and games that are currently available on PS3 more than 360.
Will eventually get a 360 as well once the reliability of the console is prove to be solid and MS stop raping us with the price of HDD.
