Funny, I was thinking the exact same thing with the initial reveal. Left me smiling with all that pop in, low quality textures and can’t forget that brute guys awesome facial textures/animations. Provides me with some great laughs.

Glad GOW beat out GTAV. Having said that, I’d have a lot of these games further down my ‘all time list’. This suffers recency bias and likely individuals who never played some absolute classics. Hilarious to see how some of the face offs turned out.
Personally I have Witcher 3, Zelda link to the past, Chrono Trigger, Red Dead Redemption(1st game), super Mario world and many others ahead of either one of these.
I can’t comment one on way or another because I haven’t played it. That’s simply because to me it looks boring and uninteresting. Having said that, I am very skeptical of the scores it has received.
Absolutely worth it. I got mine day one and happy I did. Even for games that aren’t PS5 specific they run better. Not to mention the heat exclusives already on it(Ratchet and Returnal for example).

It truly makes me laugh that someone genuinely thinks it’s this simplistic. Sony’s in house studios are fantastic and put out quality. That’s why this is working.
Xbox on the other hand doesn’t have a clue how to take an entity like Spider-Man, Wolverine, Batman etc and make a quality title. Their in house products(which are few and far between) consist of Forza, Halo and gears. Should make for an easy transition to a super hero game, right?
