The sad thing is that people will pay them money. I've bought some original art in my life, but I don't think i could buy original art of a product.
own a Wii and have fun with it for the minimum amount of time I play games. I am going to pick up a PS3 for MGS and FF this year and stick with those. I had a 360 at one point but it bored me.
This way I'll have my Wii for much needed Nintendo apps like SSBB and MKW. And I'll have the PS3 for gaming by myself. We love to get drunk and bowl on the Wii. It is fun as hell.
Glad I didn't watch it now. I quite like Oswalt and he was the only reason I was considering watching it. At the end, the pull of watching him read a mildly funny script wasn't enough to get me to turn on the festering boil known as Spike TV.
None of these systems have even been out this long? Why is anyone even discussing the next generation? How utterly ridiculous. Do you know how many changes the Wii 2 (or whatever they decide to call it) will go through before it is released. I wouldn't be surprised to hear that it will be powered by human thought in the next year.

Oh, 100% agreed. I Paying that much for one is just stupid. I got mine for retail because I worked at Gamestop at the time. I have been able to help plenty of people find them. You just gotta know where to look.
I just don't play enough. But I can tell you this. For many many years, I was the only one in my family (and of most of my friends) who played video games. Now that I have the Wii I am required to bring it to every family gathering so people can bowl and play Guitar Hero. Friends who never thought about buying a video game system before are now asking me where they should look to get one. And if this leads more people into gaming, I don't see how it is a bad thing.

I sold my 360 to get one right around launch. I just kept seeing less and less of things I wanted on 360 and wasn't sold on the just released PS3 yet. Put me down as someone who just doesn't play games enough. And when I do I am more likely to bust out my SNES than play a 360 or PS3 game. I just got it on a new laptop yesterday. On first glance I do not think it is as bad as everyone is making it out to be. I am interested to see what the service pack adds to it. To each their own I guess.
Completely man. I am sure since it happened to you once and you were given a full refund it must happen all the time. I can tell you that from the 5 stores I worked at in 2+ years the thought of doing that never crossed anyone's mind that I know of and if it had and they voiced it they would have been quickly reprimanded. That GOW2 got shafted for GOTY. That game was freaking amazing. Of everything I played this year (not a lot), my choice would be SMG or GOW2.

Tghose things aren't inventoried. When I ran one I would just give it to you for free if you seemed cool enough. That mag blows anyways.
I would agree that SMG was the best game I played this year, but there were a ton that I never had time to. I'll probably get to play a lot more next year, but this year I was down in play time.
