PS4 was unveiled in June. We are at the beginning of May. Relax! Sony is on the exact same trajectory as they were with PS4 information. At this same point with PS4 we saw the logo, we saw the controller, we knew the specs, and we knew of a few games coming. Right now with PS5 we've seen the logo, we've seen the controller, we know the specs, and we know of a few games coming. Nothing has changed!

Oh look, it's another one of those "Microsoft did this, therefore Sony must do that" articles.

Time will tell. My main concern with this business model is that it might affect AAA game development. If you are putting all your games day and date on Game Pass and not allowing your games at least a moderate window of time to sell units, I just don't see how you are making any money. Especially right now when you are practically giving your service away with so many of these .99 cent discounted deals and free trial periods. You would have to have an astronomical subscription base to...

How about get over it and realize that a ton of people LIKE symmetrical!

I enjoyed the hell out of Shadowfall and graphically it still holds up to this day and it never even got a Pro patch! Still one of the only games that made proper use of the glide pad.

I'm really hoping for a reboot on PS5 with a new found focus on story and character development. I still believe this franchise could be great if handled correctly.

The one Killzone that no one talks about, and its a shame because its sublime, is Killzone Mercenaries on Vita! One of the best games for that handheld! I'd love a remaster of that game for consoles!

Me too. It's part of their identity. Plus I'm just as comfortable with symmetrical as I am asymmetrical.

LOL how pathetically desperate are we for PS5 info when heatsink patents are noteworthy!

LOL you are saltier than Lot's wife!

You're only half right. The PS4 games that received Pro patches for dynamic resolution and unlocked framerates ARE scalable and will see a boost in performance from the increased hardware power. However games that are locked at 1080p/30fps are still going to run at 1080p/30fps on PS5 UNLESS Sony or the developer of the game issues an additional patch. It seems that Sony is opting to leave it to the individual developer to issue a patch to enhance their games for next gen, whereas MS ha...

LMAO exactly! I don't want bigger worlds next gen. I want denser, more interactive worlds. Games like Witcher 3, Red Dead 2, GTA V, Horizon Zero Dawn, etc. They're big enough! Give me those same worlds but with a greater level of detail and interaction. Please devs don't waste this extra power by making your maps bigger! Make them denser and more "alive"!

Anything with dynamic resolution and unlocked framerates should see a pretty significant boost. Any game with fixed resolution and framerates will run exactly the same other than loading times unless they get patched.

I think both units will be 499.99.

There's a reason for that. Were it not for Game Pass this game would be a distant memory. Even those numbers are deceptive. Just because a thousand Game Pass subscribers stopped by Snooze of Thieves for 15 minutes, MS counts that as 1000 people are "active players". That's a bogus metric.

"lol the SSD is not gunna produce better graphics smdh."

@dreadz74

And neither is a mere 17% power difference. Geez you Xbots are SO eager to claim this meaningless spec sheet victory you are not even bothering to look at it for what it really is. The R E A L I T Y is that the actual differences between multiplat games are going to be so negligible, you will need a magnifying glass to even see them. So congratulations! You win the pre-launch...

Why do these gaming outlets always have to interject their own opinion in the headlines? I always thought part of journalism was to be objective. The headline should've simply read "Cyberpunk 2077 Xbox Controller Possibly Leaked."

The controller speaker, when properly utilized, is a great feature! I remember playing Project Cars and my crew chief would radio in instructions to me through the controller speaker during a race. That was so cool! I also remember playing the game Flower and you could hear the gentle sounds of the wind blowing through it. It's such a subtle thing but it really does add to the immersion of the experience. I wish other games would take advantage of it.

I agree that developers should do more with the touchpad. Having said that I still LOVE it and I definitely miss it when I'm using other controllers. if for no other reason, I love having that big thing in the middle just to click on to pull up a map or a menu. the size and placement of it just makes it so accessible.

I think its simply the best game of the current generation. Its just such a lush world with so much to do and explore. Its amazing how (relatively) bug free the game was, even at launch, considering how huge it is.

If all I cared about were specs I would build a gaming PC that would smoke both PS5 AND XSX.
