Didn't like the voice over at all. The guy repeats himself tons of times. Some music in the background with speech of around 1 minute to say all he wanted to say would've done it.
Both games seem pretty good. I'm eager to get Alan Wake when it comes out.
I have a PC as well, and I have it connected to my 50" Kuro TV. It is amazing, yes it is.
What I don't agree with you is that the PC is cheaper. For you to play most games that come out to the PC you need to be upgrading it every 2 or 3 years. Even if you don't spend much you need at least to change the graphics card and add some memory/hd because of new OSes. This is without touching CPU and Motherboard. No way you could get the same amount of gaming you have on either XBOX360 or ...
