The fact people are getting that upset over it shows the level of love and detail that goes into ND's craft.
I don't remember seeing this much upset dog talk surrounding Wolfenstein games or Call of Duty.
metacritic user score doesn't even require you to have played the game to leave a review so how can it be reliable?
I could go onto the GoT metacritic on release and leave a 0 if I wanted even though we all know that's nonsense.
Nice screenshots but doubtful it looks that polished. Regardless if you love the games or not, their screenshot marketing has a history or flashing things up. They're more representative of gameplay rather than actual screenshots.

It's good to see people who actually finished it starting to come to the online discussion and balance it all out a bit better. At the start it was nothing but hate.
Having finished it now it's equal parts funny and frustrating to deep dive into forum discussions on the game and seeing how many people either just hate it because of the start and then just put up a wall or blatantly missed or misinterpreted huge sections and points.

So if like me you own them all, then why care? If Sony tomorrow said "all exclusives are coming to PC via a Playstation App" then it just means I get to support playstation studios through PC regardless.
Next gen all MS exclusives will be on PC and xbox. Great for the consumer and the devs get their games on 2 systems. I can see more PS titles coming to PC after lengthy exclusivity times though.
It's fully voiced with thousands of lines that would need to be recorded based of your decisions and responses. Did people honestly expect to be able to change their voice and/or vocal tone?
I'll be getting a PS5 day 1 but I have never understood this, the mentality of being loyal to a corporation. Even as a kid I always went after great games and could care less where they were. The more great titles gamers get to play the better.

But you're not forced too so if they wrote in all 3 killed have family that seek revenge then it would have been a break in continuity for those that let them live. Besides, in the flashback in part 2 we see the dead doctor (Abby's dad) as we were forced to kill him in 1 and then it never shows the other 2 after that, so you could reason they are alive or dead. All we see is Joel puck Ellie off the table and back put of the room.

The other 2 were probably nurses or staff trained to be surgical assistance. Abby's farther is a Neuro surgeon which added much more weight and importance. They needed to tie the story to a guaranteed kill to make it work as you're not forced to kill the other 2 in the room.

I think that's sort of a point/theme in 2 though. Joel (us) saw him as just an NPC, an object between us and saving Ellie. 2 attempts to show the easy dismissal of what we cobsider enemies in order to reach our personal goals and objectives. Kinda makes sense.
They probably chose not to give the optio to kill Ab and Lev to peave possibilities for a sequel open a bit more.
Angry Joes review discussion said the same, that it should of been an option but then he says if they make a part 3 then they can tell us which was canon, which would of just pissed people off all the same.

I don't know what your on about but if you're refering to how Abby's kill was personal and Joels wasn't but if your going to lean on a sense of joy one had over the other then it's a weak argument to dismiss what I said.
Exactly. It's easy to just place ourselves in the role of the hero and tune out everything else. I remember when people were debating that even though a swashbuckling adventure, the Nathan Drake was really a mass murderer.
This game actually deep dives on that idea and it seemed to have rubbed some people the wrong way to have their hero narrative broken. If anything else, it's a very interesting take and approach to the standard protagonists Vs antagonist approach....
