@newagenior I read this article, and must say I am just thrilled that I am a mindless tool that gladly gives my money (or my parent's money that they work hard to get, only to be wasted by my lazy shit ass) to large gaming corporations. They obviously have my best interests in mind, that would never dare exploit its customers further. People need stop complaining and continue to buy this game in hopes that they eventually put in commercials for bank loans and tampons in between loading ...
You know, I was just thinking the exact same thing last night, when I was hyperfapping to leaked photos of mama june. How glorious for Gamingbolt to give such crucial and thought provoking pieces like this.
I am just going to "upgrade" to a super nintendo, when both of these games were fun. Doesn't matter how good the system is, if the future we have to look forward to are games like "Metroid prime federation force"....
Its diminishing returns at this point with graphics. You can only make less and less improvements with every cycle getting closer to that limit of looking like real life. Unless the system can do another dimension jump like the N64 did to 3D, but that means the NX has to be able to time travel. The real innovation with this (and any system) would be going back to focusing on what made a game fun to play... while not trying to rape us for money every step after we already bought the game.
You so right man. Story and thinking are just too hard to enjoy a game! They should have made metal gear solid into another online only FPS, or even better, another Candy Crush clone! You like me man, too dumb to think beyond flashing lights, boom sounds, and kitty cats on the screen. Actually, I don't have attention span to even play FPS games, so I going to go back to sending pictures of my nutsack to random strangers.
OMG!! This is just so crazy scary and frightening!!!!! How will I cope with this?!?!?! This revelation is going to make me impotent because its so shocking! In fact, this is so frightening that I am not going to even click the article to read it!!! The horror!!!!!!
I am right with you, bro! Thinking about stuff is just too hard. We proudly support EA's model to take more and more money from us with less and less return on quantity and quality. Besides, EA is in the primary business of marketing, not making games...wait......
I have to say I am completely for this. I, like many modern gamers in agreement to this, don't have the mental capacity to process a story beyond flashing lights and explosions. I would gladly throw money at a system designed to rape me for every dollar. I am so glad to be a part of the vision EA has for how we should game, and pay for gaming.
They just need to bundle it with an interactive fleshlight. It would sell instantly.
Maybe its me, but I would say some games would be better served to move away from trying to look more "realistic". Some of the fun in playing a game is taking an escape from reality. More creativity in the design and artwork would go much further than making it seem so real that it reminds you of the pervert that likes to hang out too long in the walmart parking lot.
Do kids even have the attention span to play games aside candy crush on phones? I thought they were too busy taking selfies of themselves seeing how far they can shove a hotdog in their mouth or climbing an electric pole naked. Who has time for video games that requires more than a few seconds of concentration anymore.
I completely agree with this. Nothing gets me more turned on than playing an army game with a bunch of tough men fighting together. It's a tough lifestyle as a hardcore gamer, as my fingers are starting to chafe from playing the game, fapping, or sometimes doing both at the same time. Alright guys, I have to go prep for another round of gaming with downing stacks of mountain dew while flexing in my leapord banana hammock briefs. Man it's a rough lifestyle, but we deal.
One I bought from the store that worked as it is? Without having to pay for DLC/Online pass/ingame purchases/paywalls/additional internet access and wait for patches, fixes, apology offers?
Edit:
Fair enough. Been a while since I have seen one on any system for that matter at this point. I like to play a game for the sake of playing a game. Silly concept right?
Phew, I just checked my original NES, and it is still working. Looks like is safe from all these network attacks on all companies. Ironically the games I have for it were complete and working from the start. Such silly and archaic concepts of gaming though, right?
I just came up with a silly concept. Make a great, complete game from start that you simply stick in the console, and it plays without problem. I only joke though, It's great we have the superior gaming model that exists today.....
I break such a sweat doing some extreme hardcore COD gaming that I have to stay energized with turducken, bacon filled donuts, spam crust filled deep dish pizza, and for emergencies, a straight tub of crisco. The only thing is that it backs me up like nothing other, but thankfully I can play candy crush while doing my Sunday dump session. If only people knew how tough it was to game at this hardcore level.
I have to disagree. There is nothing better and more awesome than fapping to a virtual set while eating hot pockets and having the controller jammed up the rear. Actually... I take that back. The real deal is so much better....and tastier than hot pockets.....
With sending pictures of my junk to random people and taking selfies with homeless, I have too short of an attention span to play quality games on phones. Maybe if its flashy and mindless, then I can play a game inbetween sending pictures of my junk to random people.
Doesn't matter the company or system, it's diminishing returns of graphics technology improvements. Yay the next generation will do 16k and can produce colors in the infrared spectrum, but too bad the human eye no longer notices the difference. Content, interesting stories, gameplay, features, and artistry are the factors that are really going to matter in making games stand out, regardless the specs of the system.
