Quantic Dream were multi-platform before they did Heavy Rain so why would this be any different?
Another platform doesn't automatically mean the the Xbox360. He could easily create a game for the Wii, PC, DSi or even the iPhone. I could see a Heavy Rain type game going down very well with all the Nintendo parents out there.
Good to see they have 'new' developer Crytek signed up for an exclusive game. For a while there I thought it was Crytek the developer thats been about for years. Did he also say at the end he thought the new 360 was the only console with intergrated Wifi?
Edit... 'We're the only console to have Wifi in available on the market'... the guy clearly knows the market he works in.
The article is a blog that doesn't even include a comment or interview from Valve. It takes the fact that L4D 2 and Portal 2 aren't coming to the PS3 therefore it's likely Ep3 won't either. Pure speculation.
Put it in the context that in one week the PS3 sold 15% of total numbers of xbox360's sold in total in Japan since launch and those figures are very, very good. I'd imagine SE etc will be looking at those figures with interest.

You're assuming it's all going to be about the PS3, PS2 or PSP and games. They could very easily spend an hour talking about their upcoming movies eg 2012, District 9 etc. All of which would interest people at conference.
That background music is painful to listen to and almost totally ruins the interview. Sounds like it was recorded in a lift with a bad speaker. Anyway, nice to know they're working on their next PSN game but I'd also like some DLC for Flower as well.
it's a joke, don't believe it. Official announcement on the 30th of March (yesterday at time of writing) about the release on the 2nd of April. Whats all that about the screen only being able to be viewed a certain number of times! Rubbish.

Thats exactly why this game won't be set in Japan. This guy obviously has no idea about other cultures and what they would view as being offensive. Showing Japan as a nuclear waste ground in a game would be as offensive to the Japanese people as 9 11 game would be to America.

They're probably looking at games like GTA4 and Fallout 3 that are released at the same time on both consoles and sell in big and almost equal numbers on both consoles.
It'll be interesting to see how MGS4 sells on the 360 if and when it arrives. Historically time exclusives don't sell well on other systems.
Saying the 360 version of COD 4 sold just over 6 million units you're right saying the numbers dont make sense.

These guys must hope that if they say there's a difference often enough people will be brain washed enough to believe it. They look about as identical as identical can look.
simple answer... because it's a PS3 exclusive. Like Killzone 2 the xbox owning public will pick this game to pieces in some sad attempt to justify some sad cause they're fighting. Like Killzone 2 no one will really care what they think. Crazy thing is, compared to Uncharted 2 this game doesn't look like anything special... yet.

You're comparing mainly software companies against a manufacturing company. Plus anything those companies do manufacture is outsourced. Not really a fair comparison. Samsung have total liabilities of over $200 billion. They must be truly shafted then. Sony have difficult times ahead. So do lots of other manufacturing companies. But lets not pick one line from a balance sheet and look silly.
