Can someone please explain to me why these premium costume sets are called level packs????
Nintendo allows you to transfer your Miis anywhere, its just done via the controller and not the internet.
How on earth can people disagree with me? Its the EXACT same concept but with added features.
Ive done it myself - transferred my Mii to play with my friends and family in other places. Thats exactly what Microsoft have just said they've done.
So...almost exactly the same thing as Nintendo have done then?
Beaten to the punch?
There are loads of MMOs out there with a microtransaction system...
Anarchy Online is one of them.
Why the hell would it happen this Friday? Whats so special about it being 6 months since MGS4...? How on earth is that announcement related to it being 6 months on?
Make no sense.
Advertising is what made Microsoft win 08 over Sony.
The games helped them, although Sony had far more quality titles to back them up.
Valkyria Chronicles is awesome. It deserves more attention.
To challenge the Wii...? The Wii doesnt have anything like this though.
This is directly challenging the PS3 with its EyeToy.
Burnout Paradise deserves all its praise with the amount of after sales support it gets from the developers.
MGS4 is a total masterpiece.
Im waiting till Christmas!
How can people approve this?
Theres absolutely no proof of this statement in the source. Its just some guy in a forum talking about something that only mentions this in his title.
Isnt this really old news?
Would be awesome if an MMO was in there.
I would love to see EQ2 on the PS3. Just see how well it would handle the graphics.
Broadband speeds are laughable worldwide.
I will guarantee that it will have an optical drive.
It will be atleast another 10-15 years till we even start to see popularity on devices relying 100% on the internet for media.
I thought that only certain games work in offline mode and you still need an internet connection every so often to verify the game...
Ill stick to my stable Sky 16mb package for £10 a month, thanks.
Steam DRM has its good points...and bad points.
Good:
-Its non intrusive (no "spyware")
-Can be installed as many times as you want, anywhere with an internet connection
-No additional "secuRom" bullshit. Nothing additional is installed, Steam can be removed whenever.
Bad:
-Steam account can only be played on one computer at a time (only 1 game can be played at one time even if you own 100s).
- Steam checks authentic...
So what, 2% of the UK will get this speed?
It will be another 10-15 years until we see the majority of the UK on this speed.
Virgin were voted the worst ISP of 2007 for customer support too.
See now if this was a PS3 / PC exclusive deal, the map editor would of come out on the PS3 too because of its open platform and modding support!!
So annoying.
Its a danger in Japan. Mobile games are HUGE over there.
It would probably outsell MGS4 in Japan.
Its not a threat in the Western world though - which most people seem to be referring to here.
