Its all just market speak. We'll keep getting new consoles, I just imagine they will stop getting traditional numbering. They'll end up with cute version names. Think iPhone. heh.
"Bombastic"? Can we see those CoD blowing sales numbers for GoW3? Cuz I am pretty sure that isn't the case. The only people who think God Of War was a thing in the past are people who are in a frenzy over it. Meaning not alot of people. This is one of those strong fan bases that really love their IP - but that doesn't mean it's made of gold. 4 Million copies is a solid profit, but it isn't Call of Duty.
For once I agree with you. This is endemic of their behavior for years and instead of trying to do the right thing, they're sliding into the path of least resistance to raise revenue and value to the executives. It's a sad demise that in the end will be viewed as a victory.
As an old school Nintendo fan i've held out hope since the SNES era ended that it would return to that set of values. The interesting part will be seeing how long everyone else will continue...
The new Pokemon games are NEVER cheap. You're kidding yourselves. All Pokemon Go is doing is telling Nintendo they can abandon game consoles. Nothing more.
Temple did not have warp attacks, riposting, dynamic environment magic systems and it was probably one of the most tedious games I remember flutzing with. You are dating yourself really, and that's about it. No point made. In the slightest.
No. it's thing that is so old that it was originally created incorporating text only menus without any visual presentation at all. And the current system in place? There isn't another game that incorporates parry/riposte teleporting in combat, quick switching and dynamic environment effects in that way. Do some research and then come at me lil feller.
So its not an archaic turn based system anymore, and its a modern fantasy setting, so you're pouting and staying away? Cool. I'm doing the same thing with Battlefield "1" because I hate World War shooters. Good on you. It doesn't need a ridiculously self-indulgent article. Surprised Foxtrot hasn't jumped on this one yet.
As of right now there is no PC version slated to release. It was stated it was something they would consider down the road.
Any other platform? Including PC?
So tired of hearing readers accuse people of taking bribes for reviews. Burden of proof kids, not just your paranoid CIA conspiracy senses.

This game is so over hyped. It was made by a tiny team people. Temper your expectations.
Fucking preach
I'm not dignifying that article with a click on the site. But if that's his high bar, he's easy to please.

Conjecture. Click bait as frick.

If it were a commercial failure, publishing would end on the device. You love watching your own type Chris. Seriously.
The XBot playing was real bad. Episode Duscae sold me on this game ages ago. Bring it!!
There won't be a next gen. Wake up people. Going forward its all about the platform.
A menu is a menu is a menu. Contextual based visual queues didn't exist in your examples.

Really? The 70s? Oh do educate me on what game had all the described systems in any format back in Pongs day. Go on.
