I think the PS3 version may be more crisp, if in fact it does run at 1080p. Having said that, I think the 360 version will have better colours and better shadows due to ATI chip it has. (ps3 games do have blocky shadows when zoomed, I'm not sure why).

When is this game releasing?
Still doesn't not take away from how great Guitar Hero III is. I'm loving it. It's great fun, and IMO it has a way better track list than Rock Band.
I'm sure Rock Band will be fun, but I agree that it's more complex trying to get 3 peeps at your house and having tons of peripherals about.
Having said that, the GH3 les paul is compatible with Rock Band, so if I ever want to play it (guitar parts) I can.

This is by FAR the greatest 3d fighter out there. Team Am2 were the first and still the best at 3d fighting. I also feel jealous of the better 360 version, but hey thats how it goes. I have had it for months.
Tekken = SUCKS BALLS but fun
Soul calibur = EXCELLENT
DOA = VERY GOOD
KOFMI = VERY GOOD
VIRTUA FIGHTER 5 = BEST 3D FIGHTER yet.

Apart from being smooth as ice 60fps and great fun, it has some of the best textures I have seen on a console game yet. Some times I spend ages panning the camera over a new weird and cool looking bump mapped texture that I have found. And thats on my crappy old skool 480i.
Must rule on 720p.
But, some of them also have no clue. But the one real pisser I hate about EB Games (GameStop) is when they try to convince me to buy a $hitbox 360, and tell me how great Live is and paying money to play online is fine etc...."unified friends list.....yadda yadda .............STFU! If I come in for a ps2/3 game, that means I'm NOT FKN INTERESTED IN A DIFFERENT CONSOLE!!!!!

Only to find the X button on the Les Paul did not work at all. Bummed me out, but they agreed if I just brought the guitar back down only, they would switch it out. Which they did. It is cheaply made but hey, great game. I can't even beat Raining Blood on medium! :(

I can tell you this. My local EB Games aka 'can I please spew forth pro 360 form letter BS while you shop for PS3 software,..games' has absolutely none left and I can't find it anywhere. So I ordered it online.
Which means a week or so wait I guess. Anyway, if that is any indication, it is selling.
This being a TACTICS RPG does not necessarily require the Unreal Engine 3 or .................forget it. Go and play Halo3.
