That was a good read. I'm glad to see that the single player campaign has not been neglected since I refuse to pay for Xbox Live for now.
I have played all the games you listed with the exception of MGS4. All beautiful and great games but I still have more fun playing Halo 3 and Bad Company 2.
After doing all that...it still sucks.

Shooters constantly top PS3 sales charts as well. In the real world PS3 gamers are not that different than 360 gamers but the little box called N4G wants everybody to think otherwise.
I get what you are saying. It is a matter of what you are in to. I loved Godfather as a kid but now I prefer movies like Hangover.
It would be nice to have it all in one package but if I have to choose, I'll take fun over creativity and innovation every time.

I totally agree with you about the annoying kids on Xbox Live. Just a few minutes ago I had to tell my son to mute one. However, I have come across plenty of annoying kids on PSN while playing Bad Company 2 and there has also been many occasions where some adults were cursing like sailors. Just saying that Xbox live does not have a monopoly on annoying people.
