If I win, I'll buy games for my nephews. I'm thankful to have a family and friends.

Don't sleep on this one if you haven't played it! Probably the greatest RPG of all time. I remember the day it came out it was absolutely insane. You probably won't be as amazed as we were when it came out, but it's definitely worth a try.

Oh yeah! ONE thing this generation has completly dropped the ball is the ITEMS. FFVI has some of the best, if not the best item variety. RPG Devs need to create original and varied weapons... FFXIII was LAUGHABLE in that reg...

Is the customization really limited? how would you compare it to other D&D based games? for me it's the biggest part. Dungeon Hunter was really cool at first, but after playing a few hours you get that the items don't change that much and the only customization you're really left with is some skills. Then you realize you can only use 3 active skills at once.

I'm hoping for a Baldur's gate Dark Alliance or Champions of Norath here. Nothing less

I rock with Nightwolf. He's got some nasty combos and great all around special moves. Haven't had the chance to play much online, but I haven't seen anybody use him yet

Great game, very underrated. Beautiful music, great combat mechanics / skills, good customization and lots of side quests. I really loved the story.

The things I did not like about it was that there wasn't that much variety for the monsters and the map isn't big enough. There's a lot of backtracking, but at least the monsters change or get stronger.

One of the best action-rpg title this gen

lil translation :

Playability
The game is for everybody and at the same time very rich, the possibilities offered by Kratos are sublime

Realisation
Beautiful, epic, dark : More than a game, it's an art work

Sound
Powerful sounds that represent Kratos and unforgettable symphonic music

Lasting Appeal
12 Hours for the first time, then new game modes are unlocked. We'll play it over and over again

Can anybody tell me if it still has super low and unstable Framerate? It was HORRIBLE in the beta, I thought it was barely playable. Low and unstable framerate in an online shooter is very bad

how lame....

And after playing with unstable and less than 30 fps and jaggies all around, I was completely turned off. You can say its a beta and all, but the final product is almost always a bit better but nothing more.

Is this game really good? I was sooo disappointed from the first. It was one the the biggest let down ever for me, but I see it keeps getting very good scores.

Thanks again for your very helpful information. I'll be playing on friday and probably most of the week-end. I'm probably too low for now, but look for udca when the game comes out. Not sure which server I'll be in though

Oh and what's the duration of the flight mode? and do you know if the Collector's edition pre-order's item that increases flight by 40 seconds is permanent?

I was in the last beta myself, but only played up to level 6 or 7. I was wondering, when are the first dungeons and first pvp encounters approximately. Also, are the dungeons all instances? or is there a combination of both?

Pre-bubbles + for you :p

Yeah I remember him saying that he made a bit of profits, it didn't seem like it was such a success but WOW!

I totally agree with Dragon Warrior 4, my most memorable moments were in the NES / SNES days for the exception of the final fantasy series. I think FF7 was one the the best, but I have to say that FF6 was the greatest RPG I've played, followed by FF4. I'm also a big Dragon warrior fan (playing the 7th right now)

I bought Oblivion, Fallout and Mass effect. Haven't finished any of em. Oblivion was AWESOME at first but wayyyy to repetitive, level scaling was also stupid. Pretty much...

Wizardry titles have always been great dungeon crawlers.

Funny anecdote : I remember playing Wizardry on the NES with a friend and we were trying to create the best party at the beginning of the game. When you create a character, the screen after you type his name you get random points allocated and in this game. Usually you get around 10-12, but sometimes you could get up to like 25.

Also, we were reading a strategy guide and it said that there was no known way to ...
