I just want to be able to pay my bounty in Markarth.
I average about $500 a year, but I'm sure my liquor tab would be much, much higher if I were to go out all the time rather than buy video games and stay home. It works.
I pay over $100 a month for cable... $100 A MONTH. I still get commercials. LOTS of them. Often times they are totally irrelevant to me. Boner pills, anxiety medications, tampons, the list goes on forever. I pay $60 A YEAR for Xbox Live. Most of the ads are relevant to me and, IMO, not intrusive. Nobody makes you click on the ads. Hell, you can set up your Xbox to boot right into a video game if you want to. Not a big deal as far as I'm concerned.
Am I the only one who thinks that MGS4 is overrated? It's just a candy coated, convoluted, billion hours of cut scene watching, B-quality dialogue having, not-so-amazing game. To top it off, Snake decided to steal Clint Eastwood's persona. As for Metal Gear Rising? Hack and slash just isn't my thing.
The gray area has been there since NXE. I hate it too, though. They need an option to turn it off if you want.
Aww, why the hate for Skyrim? Let me guess, someone stole your Sweet Roll?
Can I just pop in a disk, kick back in my recliner and play the awesome PC mods after a long days work? ...No? I guess I can sacrifice some better textures and performance so I can enjoy my games quickly and conveniently in between working, shopping for groceries, going out with friends, sleeping, etc. etc. etc.
Seriously, everyone knows that PC's are better. It's a matter of convenience. I spend far too much time doing other things to focus on pimping out my computer...
I installed the patch (Xbox 360) right after it came out and immediately installed the game onto my hard drive. Put in about 8 hours of playtime. All textures seem more crisp and, obviously, with the game installed my load times are very much improved. I've killed 2 dragons since the patch, neither were flying backwards and both of them attacked me. One of them was a frost dragon and both my Nord resistance to frost and my Nightingale armor resistance to frost still worked, as his frost b...
The 360 patch is live now. I installed my game and can confirm that the high res textures work perfectly when it is installed now. Thank God, the load times were killing me. They're cut in half now.
Yeah, so shameful that they're going to give me my money's worth with Elite.

*cough, World of Warcraft, cough*
It's not how I would play the game, personally, but since it's a single player game this is a victimless crime.
I read it that way at first too. What he's actually saying is he'll play KOTOR, Jade Empire and Mass Effect any day over other RPGs. Punctuation and proper sentence structure would have gone a long way toward making a clear statement, but this IS N4G. Just be glad the comment didn't mention COD or Battlefield.
Agreed. Most of the complaints are due to a failure to understand even the simplest of things about Skyrim's user interface. Even the auto-save feature can be changed from as much as every 5 minutes all the way to every 60 minutes OR just disabled outright from within the settings menu in the gameplay options. ....but I guess taking the time to make an article about these "problems" was easier than thinking.
Kind of makes the wood look like cheap veneer or like plastic. Not a fan.
Doubtful. They don't have to yet and with this economy it's not in their best interest. Wii U is NOT serious competition. It will be just a little bit better than what we currently have. 2013 will be the year. It's not like Nintendo is going to blow Sony and Microsoft out of the water with a one year head start and horrible online service.
...says the guy who's avatar says "playing black ops alot :D" when I hover over it with my mouse.
You have a willpower that is unmatched. Personally, I can't think of a better way to spend a cold winter than questing in Skyrim. The GOTY edition will likely come out when it's nice and warm and I want to be outside.
I'm shocked that the author has never used the bow in an Elder Scrolls game. It's so f'ing rewarding to clear a whole dungeon with nobody seeing you.
Exactly.
