Man, I love how all that stuff is flying around and the sound effects are amazing. Graphics and animations look a bit disappointing, but the atmosphere makes up for it. Hopefully they can fix the screen tearing.

1. The demo build is a few months old. (like every other demo ever made)

Wow what great insight. If you don't want the demo then don't buy the damn movie and stop complaining. And for the people that don't mind waiting, they will probably put out another one on PSN/Live anyways.
just for reference, I don't even like FF games. Just think the points he/she makes are stupid.
They are almoast the same spec wise. The Wii has slightly more RAM but the xbox was much better with normal mapping and shaders and what not.
I've heard the Wii could never handle a game like Doom 3 or Riddick. But at the same time it can do stuff the xbox couldn't too.

Well the PS3/360 Silent Hill looked worse than Silent Hill 3. Although that was IMO one of the best looking games last gen.
This is definitely one I've been looking forward too since I heard about it. Seems like it could be a Hitman type game only with a more interesting premise.
I found it completely different from god of war besides some of the bosses being blatant rip offs (the kraken, the colossus) and the fact that it has GTEs (although they are done much differently)
Everything else was like a mix of Ninja Gaiden (setting, characters, basic combat layout, enemy spawns, camera) and Otogi (over the topness and general feel)
I wouldn't say its a horrible game but it doesn't hold a candle to any of those three.
It's only a matter of time before both are the same and free.
I'll never understand why after every update people whine and write articles about the inconsequential features Live has that PSN doesn't. Both consoles have a lot of features the others don't, but I rarely hear people whining about no browser, no remote play, no ability to copy and manage media off external hard drives, no ff or rewind off music interface(wtf?), not region free, ect.

Those are probably 2 of my most anticipated games coming out the next couple months. I know they are downloadable but I would take them over 99% of the disk games.
Isn't Bikini Samurai Squad for the Wii as well as the 360? Or are the games different?
I like Jaffe. He's made many game franchises that are just flat out visceral and fun.
Plus he's willing to call out negatives within the industry (like publishers pressuring reviewers to get good scores), and is more personable than other developers.
Gotta go with 3 as the best for sure. The music, the characters, the boss fights, the 2nd opening after the failed mission, the freaking twist at the end! Never thought a Metal Gear game would blow my mind as much as the first one but 3 took me by surprise and did just that.
I think my main gripe with 4 was you didn't feel like your really on a mission like in 1 and 3. They broke it up into the acts which really messed up the immersion. But it gave more variety to the environment...
I strongly disagree with the racing pick. Burnout was far and away the best racing game.
Fable 2 was a rally fun game overall but it had some major major issues. Like the dozen or so game breaking glitches, slow caching menus , a crap load of load times, the fact that I finished every quests and owned every building in only just over 20 hours of play time, the final boss, multiplayer sucked, ect ect. Plus there was a lot less clothing and weapon options than I thought there would...
I'm thinking it's because they showed the boss fight? Hope they don't get in too much trouble, Gamersyde is the best site for game videos IMO.
This is obviously someone sucking up to their employer. To me it seems like Sony gives their developers much more creative freedom and is willing to take more risks with quirky games.

Does B+ always equal 83% on Metacritic? Every grading scale I've ever had has had B+ anywhere in the 86-90 range, but never 83. Not that I really care much.
How about just doing what vanquish does. Get rid of the annoying blood splatter and just go into bullet time when low on health. The player knows they are in trouble and they are given help rather than being hindered by crap all over the screen.
