I work in sales myself and one of the big no no's is don't knock the opposition, for the exact reason you have just state (i.e. shows complete lack of faith in your own product).
I love my PS3 but I hate it when I see Sony knock the competiton.
I just hope they have learnt alot this gen becuase I can see Sony bouncing back a stronger force next-gen.

I really don't think they can finace an advertising campaign the level of microsoft.
I just don't think they have enought cash in the bank to go all out war with adverts.
People keep saying Sony are "Bleeding" money so how can they advertise if this is the case.

To those above, yes I think this is the same game the BBC were on about, and they did mention about the amazing life like graphics, and the amazing story telling.
Would someone just let us see this, why all the secretism, I bet they will WOW the crowd at E3, one or two months away if I'm not mistaken.

I just have to say when you have 30 million to about 4 million (I think that article said), I think you've every right to be a little over confident, and he was in no way he as bad as this aron bloke is being.
Now look at thing this gen, (rough numbers here), 22 million to about 28 million, I think you can see that the gap is no where near the huge "grand canyon" difference the ps2 has, oh yeah and just to let you know the PS2 is still selling, wheres the original Xbox....
If Microsoft don't like it then why not get someone else to fill in his position.

I think they are the ones that deserve the most praise, yeah i hate the fact that they are there, but credit where credits due.
Sony always say that they do not have a mascot, they have a varied selection of games, which is what I would prefer rather than one title that defines your console.
Need Heavy Rain, and I can see Sony actually marketing this one seeing as David Reeves said himself that it is the most important games on PS3.
