This looks fun

When the majority of them fail, and they would have to as there just isn't the market for all of them. Hopefully developers will change tack and we'll be getting some smaller, more linear type of story based games.

I thought it already was bigger than the film industry.

I don't know why MS or Sony doesn't offer studios who make games like GTFO, Lethal Company, Phasmopobia etc to provide a team or cash to port these games exclusively for their system. They'd be such easy little wins for each system and it shouldn't take much money, considering the size of the companies.

Games aren't above criticism or jokes.
Your campaign was short and cobbled together. We all know it. It wasn't necessarily the developers fault due to the unrealistic time frames set by management but also, sometimes it's not the Director or Actors fault in a film that gets heavily criticised. But we'll still rip it out of them at awards ceremonies.
On top of the COD should be called out for their terrible cash grab of a game.

Not too fussed about Starfield but I am gutted PS won't be getting Dishonored 3 or Outer Worlds 2. I enjoyed both of these series. They've bought some decent IPs that I would personally really enjoy plying, but is a DH3 or OW2 a big system seller?

Why? Because I enjoy playing story driven games in Co-Op. If Baldurs Gate 3 can do it, then yeah I'm sure this story driven can do it too. It's been done lots of times before. Gameplay does look very similar to the previous two titles, they were fun to play, but I don't know if I care for more of the same. Not all sequels look alike, this does.

Still such a shame this isn't co-op. Looks good though and I'm sure it'll play better than the previous two, but for me it still looks a little too similar. I'll wait until it comes down in price.

Looks interesting

I agree. The only thing I'd say I miss from it is the 'hands on' that journalists use to have with the games. I know some companies invited journo's/game enthusiasts to play some games in advance, so they could give some insight into gameplay once they had been announced, but that explosion of hands on thoughts I kinda miss. Other than that, it was decent. Devolver Digital had a very entertaining showcase and I do hope some other showcases take weirder/more interesting approac...

Game stores are definitely going to struggle now that digital purchases are so easy to do. I do think they're saveable but they need to change up.
Put some sofa's in there, put a bar in there. Let people play the newest games and hang out. Get a monthly challenge going where the winner gets a free game. Almost like a shop arcade.
It's quite a shuffle but if they want to survive they're going to have to learn to appeal instead of just being a place to pick u...

Totally agree. I haven't bought the game, I don't care much for HP or that universe but to see 'gaming' sites review it in such a blatantly biased way is embarrassing. Not that I visited Gamespot often but going forwards I don't think I'd even acknowledge a review score from them.

Credibility means a lot when it comes to reviewing games that I could possibly purchase. And with games now even more expensive you need to have trusted opinions.

Polygon, Kotaku, Gamespot and a host of others all showing themselves up. Unsurprisingly I was never a frequent visitor of these sites in the first place. Awful gaming perspectives in general.

Stick her in some tombs, make it slightly metroidvania, get her to shoot some animals, alien weird things, solve puzzles (environmental, physics and time based) platform around and kill a few but not many humans. Make it incredibly atmospheric and lonely. A bit of travelling, bish bash bosh, ya done.

It won't the SC remake. That's been announced. But an unannounced SC game. I'm not saying it's a smart move, but seeing how Ubisoft have been with the SC IP recently, I wouldn't be surprised.

I was guessing that one of the cancelled games was a Splinter Cell game. Hopefully not.

Looking forward to this. I hope it doesn't disappoint. WWF No Mercy for the new generation.

It's why I originally never picked it up. That was BF to me. Massive destruction to change the battlefield. With todays tech that stuff should be amazing and in 2042 it was terrible.

I remember seeing this game before its release and thinking, this would be fun to play with mates. But we're all console players.
I kept tabs on it for a while but then it just disappeared off my radar.
It's a shame it's shutting because it does look like a fun game. I wonder if a console version would have helped.
