And there are valid points in the article. Think about those 2 million whose warantees have run out now and hence they would have to pay for repiars which is very expensive
MS sold around 2m x360s in 2005
The warantees of those 2m x360s would be over this year. Ofcourse those owners are bound to get RRODed but MS wont be repairing consoles for free anymore
that kind of bad publicity will cause x360 sales inspite of the fact that x360 future lineup is underwhelming. Plus SONY would be able to cut down the price of ps3 in 2009 not once but 4x
