It did, but it also got worse because of it.
Agreed. 60fps needs to become the new standard.
Not well. Like just about every other launch game for this generation.
@neutralgamer1992
Dont tell me to read something when your unwilling to do the same.
But you've said the exact same thing as them in previous comments. Did you even read the article?
@CaptainHenry916
That's great! So what's the problem exactly?
@lifeisgameok
You're claiming to hold a position, but privately not abiding by it. We call that virtue signalling. You can't claim you don't like supporting XGP on the basis of not owning games while purchasing games digitally that you merely own a license for.
"And owning digital would still be better than renting on Gamepass"
You don't own the games you buy digitally, and you don't own the games you gain...
@Ultranova
Notifications then. Also, you still haven't shown how I'm a hypocrite. Try again.
@UltraNova
As alway you come out to shit in my inbox. And as usual you accuse me of something despite having no evidence.
The only person in fantasy land is you. Keep foaming at the mouth babe <3
Unfortunately, some are just too far gone and can't be reached.
That's the whole point of the console war. It's a battlefield with no soldiers, but a huge crowd of spectators screeching at one another.
@lifeisgameok
In which case you're being a hypocrite. You don't own games you purchase digitally, so you do support a kind of future where you don't own your game library.
@lifeisgamesok
So your argument is basically that you could tell me why the game is good, but you won't because I might disagree?
So that's one response and it looks like we're off to a shaky start. 1886 fans still can't defend their beloved jewel of the bargain bin.
Except you cant actually defend that statement. The game is a prime example of what makes a terrible AAA game. It's why there isnt one person in this thread going in depth on what made the game so good and undeserving of the criticism.
So you dont use XBLG, PS+ or buy anything digitally as well?
I think the game you're referencing never made it out of concept. The teaser they showed was more for the studio than a game.
But I do agree they should be given the opportunity to create an all new IP.
Oh I have a very easy answer to that at the moment. I only ever boot up my PS for the occasional exclusive; I boot up my Xbox when something good comes to XGP. Easy answer there my friend. Also, does XGPU count as Xbox? Author said Xbox so I guess their PC offerings count as well.
Haven't touched my PS since I finished Death Stranding. My Xbox on the other hand gets varying usage every week.
@septemberindecember
If you weren't trying to claim it was gaining power then what on earth were you try to claim? If your not going to be clear in what you're saying then don't engage at all. Right now you're making a stupid argument, and if you don't like the response you should re-evaluate your position.
"Yes, the speeds could be achieved while handheld, if you wanted 15 minutes of battery."
This is hype...
The part where they haven't played the game? I have, and I can say it plays nicely. Guess that makes me the authority on this compared to you.
It'll be interesting to see if it changes much with the upcoming release and what the full package will contain.
Okay, but this entire industry isnt "needed". I'm not even sure what you're trying to say in your comment. Is there any gaming convention/show that's "needed"? Not really. But they make it nice and easy to keep up with announcements, gameplay demos and general gaming news, and the vast majority enjoy watching.
