Thats unfortunate. 100+ million PS4s...no new Spiderman, no GT7...two titles that are running on the exact same engine as their PS4 counterparts. Its possible thats its closer to something in between 7 seconds and your suggested 3 seconds...but again, the more telling thing is that it took that long to load at all considering how much Sony has spoken about its SSD tech and this is a first party title pack in looking to give everyone who purchases the box an idea of what to expect. You wanted to play it so bad without actually understanding what the game played like and if it would be for you. Same with Destiny. For those kinds of games...I rather wait until they hit XGP then I could try it with the full cost of the price upfront. This is exactly my point about services vs buying. I dont NEED to own every game I play. I only buy the games I KNOW I will want to own and play for years to come. Everything else, I wait for XGP and play it there. Ive completed a fair share of games only played through XGP and now that Ive finished the game, I have no desire to go back to it...did I really need to have bought it in that case...
WOW! I dont play the game myself...but if you dont think those are encouraging numbers for other devs to get excited about XGP and putting their games on the services sooner than later, then I dont know what to tell you. Thats amazing.
