GOW 3 is more of a frustating game, the visuals are beautiful, the voice acting and smoothness of the game play is top notch, but there was something missing, to me it didnt feel as good as the other God of War games and when i beat it,i had no desire to play it again
Or it could be that when games are reviewed,other games in the same genre offering the same gameplay that is released at the time are taken into consideration, for example take Perfect Dark Zero, if that game was to b released now it could get about 50%
Halo 3's multiplayer was a step above anything else on consoles and there is still no PS3 game that can rival Halo 3 in the multiplayer department
I couldnt give a rats arse if it was 480p, its the best shooter out there with the best multiplayer, and thats all that counts
The Wii and handhelds has fcuked up the Japanese Market, since these are the countrys biggest sellers, Devs create games for these which are at a good standard for those platfroms but when it comes to x360/PS3, they dont have as much experience and the standards required are much higher
Agreed, you can guarentee no matter what game it is PC comes first, ps3 comes second, wii comes third, ps2 comes forth, i phone comes fifth and last but not least the 360
Lost Planet 1 was good for its time and so was Dead Rising (only spoiled by the stupid save system), everything else were average but not system sellers by any stretch of the imagination
Fallout 3, Cod(S), Dead space, Oblivion, ME2, Battlefield 2, GTA, Bayonetta, NG2 and so on are all great games and rival any First Party exclusive out there.
The only 2 games that are exclusive and stand head n shoulders above anything else are Uncharted 2 and Reach (I'm talking gameplay not pixels)

They really piss me off, i always have to have a look before i play the game which results in my playing the game to the trophy/acheievements rather than playing the game how i normally would - I always tell myself not to look untill I have completed the game but they are like crack - friggin addictive

Final word on Reach - The game will still be enjoyed by the droves untill the next Gen comes along and the servers are shut - TRUE VALUE FOR MONEY, a rare quality in todays market which is crammed with Blockbusting shovelware, copy and paste games with the odd jewel in shite that twinkles to keep the gamers interested
Blu ray is a luxury not a necessity, when you can play awesome games such as Fallout 3, Halo Reach, Gears of War, Dead space, COD - all of which come on one DVD, the NEED for blu ray isnt so obvious, but if you like 30 hours of cut scenes and uncompressed audio/video and you dont like to swap disks then blu ray is required
