Red dead revolver was a cartoony shooter with very entertaining game mechanics. You actually had to aim when you shot an enemy in the first one.

Whats the point of a shooting game where your character shoots with 100% perfect accuracy every time... with little effort on your part? Theres no sense of accomplishment in that.

But if exploring large amount of content is your thing than redemption is probably still worth your money

I bet the bonuses on a game like MW2 could have amounted to quite a bit of cash. We may not know the whole story but its looking that Activision's choice to strong-arm infinity ward is backfiring big time.

It has been done before, but with Battlefield EA made 2 small mappacks for purchase, where the content was already locked away on the disk...

I love the game (and i got the maps for free in the limited edition) but thats just plain EVIL!

In the future i'm going to think twice, no three times before i buy another game that employs such tactics. It better be dammed good if its going to get my money like that!

thats 15 bucks toward a new game. I already have 8 days in COD-land and i have grown tired of the game in general.

New maps are cool but for me its not going to make the game any different... ill just be shooting in different directions and angles... for $15!

Yeah Tiger is the real victim here... Not EA.

There is a picture on the LOT comparison where there is simply no shadow where there should be in the Ps3 version (the dock picture).

Fail?

Yes, i have had the game since launch. I spend time in the bushes and i have not yet noticed the poor quality they are rendered at(although i might now). I probably didn't notice because the extra marks just added to the chaos of view impairment that you would expect from being in a bush (im not saying its ok though).

Im going to be lazy and not check your link... but rather i am going to go ahead and guess that its an error experienced on the 360 from decompression of the text...

I dont really agree that the graphics looked better on the ps3 version. Yes, something was really messed up with that bush, but it you look carefully at the other pictures (as in the picture of the dock, or lack of texture definition of the chinstrap in the ps3 pic) it looks like the 360 version actually has an edge on the ps3 version.

I looked pretty carefully at these stills and i think anyone who says differently either 1) didnt look at them, or 2) FOS

MW2: "puts an emphasis on individual achievement"

BBC2: "Game-play takes cues from Team Fortress 2" <==win imo

Midnight cannot come fast enough!

It is also legitimately infuriating, and legitimately not fun.

Legitimately a reason for me to play a different game.

Now they have only 10 days to make millions of copies and then distribute them around the world for sale by march 2nd.

Is this normal or are they running late?

"i found Bad Company 2 online alot more fun than MW2 just because the maps are more open"

Gotta agree kenpachi. In bbc2 it feels like each firefight is different, whereas it seems like in MW2 i kill enemies in the same 6 spots on the map over an over again. MW2 is a great game, but after 7 days play its starting to get on my nerves.

And yet strangely, i would still rather play the limited demo of bbc2 instead of my full copy of MW2.

5206d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

First thing i would like to say is that this is just a DEMO! its only been out for a week or so and i would not expect a whole lot cooperation from people who are on for the first time and dont know how to even play yet.

Secondly i would like to say that playing as a team makes a big difference. If i can just get a couple of team players in my squad, we'll wreck house and by myself i dont ever do nearly as well. The class system itself promotes teamplay as it is. You need varie...

Its awesome. in bbc2 strategy and positioning are king; it is a tactical game. Camping in bbc2 is much less effective/prevalent (thus far) than in MW2.

In MW2 each map tends to have 3-4 chokepoints that can be camped and locked down... but in bbc2 the maps are so large that camping is often to you and your teams disadvantage.

It feels like an actual conflict when you're playing it and i think that DICE effectively pulled off the kind of gameplay that MAG was shoot...

The combination of RTS and FPS makes for alot of fun. In particular i always like how teamwork was a big part of NS1.

The commander would give you orders and it would pop on screen and on the map where and what he wanted you to do. Some players would just ignore the orders and would later be surprised that the commander wouldnt spend the money to buy them heavy armor and a LMG, unlike the players who were actually following orders.

It like playing starcraft from t...
