2013? I almost don't want to hear about something that far away.
Eat that, article description! You don't control me!
Maybe the recession actually helps microtransaction-based games, where you can get away with spending a few bucks instead of $15 a month on an MMO subscription or $60 on a new game.
Scout was the only class I didn't try out when I was playing the beta recently. I'm actually a bit disappointed; it sounds kinda cool.
But I don't know about forcing players to change servers everyday. Very interesting.
When I had TV, it was an opportune time to watch that. These days, I'll listen to a podcast while playing WoW -- it's really a perfect opportunity to get that out of the way.
This, of course, assumes your children or parents aren't terrible party members. Otherwise things could deteriorate.
That's unfortunate in that there won't be updates. That's what keeps an MMO alive as much as anything outside of an active community.
That seems like a nice addition, but I still find crafting to be pretty frustrating since it seems like I'm always being one-upped by somebody right next to me with what they're making.
I'm not sure that I like the idea of being able to just switch your class. That means you could have people in your party that have no idea how to play the class they're current playing, and... it just seems wrong. I see the appeal, but I'm not sure I like it.
Yeah, but Runescape I'd say is the epitome of that sort of thing, at least with online RPGs.
RuneScape has perpetually been the game I make fun of people for playing, even though I know if I actually tried it and gave it a fair chance, I'd probably love it.
I might give it a try at some point. It can't be worse than some of the other MMOs on the market.
It might be sad to say this, but just comparing the game to The X-Files has caught my absolute attention and I'm now tremendously excited. I'd doing my best to reserve _some_ judgment for when we actually see gameplay, but I have my fingers crossed that it won't be a letdown.
It's not really a slap in the face; more like a wake-up call for Epic. A 6 on the 1UP Network scale isn't bad by any means.
UT3 definitely isn't a great PC game in my opinion, and this score is right on the mark in my opinion.
But doesn't the title seem overly generic and forgettable?
