Not to me it's not. I get a better online experience on Steam for free. Besides that i am not paying a $60 extortion fee to use the online services i bought with my game.
The "White washed look" on the 360 is possibly because of MS manipulating the 360's output to be more shitty TV friendly. This is a well documented fact, devs are provided with a colour conversion table of course.

This depends strictly on which country you are referring to.
Each CPU has a unique signature, you'd either have to find a way around it (doubtful) or break into his house.
And not a single f*ck was given that day.
Here's the dilemma, risk lower sales by decreasing your potential audience Vs focusing on one platform which tends to increase the amount of polish that that single version gets.
At the same time there are more factors into play here. If they expect the game to sell mostly in Japan then they have almost no reason to make a 360 version and focusing on PS3 might help them offset development costs with potential help from Sony, less time spent on 360 port etc..

The dev team had approached Sony and MS at the same time but MS was the first to show interest. By the time Sony responded they had already signed a publishing deal with MS, hence why it's not on PSN.
Got it on Steam. When i saw it threatening me with a 4 Euro price i knew it meant business. I also gave it any other money i had available at the time. It's scary!
On the other hand i don't regret getting SMB, one of the best 2D platformers ever made. Up there with Rayman.
One company has made just 2 games both being masterpieces and is going for the third which is looking amazing as well and the other has made 2 games both which sucked and is going to butcher a well loved franchise next. Guess which is which!

Because the PSP library is great and not every game is available on PSN so in some cases BC with the NGP will be a bummer. Not to mention that PSP games can be had for very cheap worldwide in disk format, cheaper than on PSN (also i prefer disk format than downloads). I for one am tempted to buy one and i'm also getting an NGP at launch.
