It is three full priced games. If each game is a full 30+ hour experience explain to me why you should get any of that for free?. This remake is hugely expensive beyond anything they have made before. They want to give us the best product they can give us. I don't get your problem with paying for three games. Do you not understand what they are doing with this?. They are adding tons of content that werent in the original and fleshing out the world of FFVII.
They have already have explained it's like the FFXIII trilogy where each of the three games is a full 30+ hour experience. It will be longer than 30 hours each however.

Final Fantasy XVI is rumored to be in production right now and I completely believe it based on credible sources. Final Fantasy is making a come back is a huge way starting with FFXV and FFVII Remake.

There won't be another Soulsborne game for a while most likely. Myazaki and others at From Soft really want to create new games. I think down the line we will get a BB2 and Demon Souls 2 would be really cool as well. I still want a far future alien science fiction Souls type game some time too. That would be really interesting to experience.
They said a few months ago that the game can be played from beginning to end. They will mainly just be be polishing up the game and tweaking things. I am confident the game will look and perform great. I'm pretty sure Tabata said the frame rate will be locked at 30fps which is nice to hear.
People are overreacting a bit here. This demo is not part of the main game was rushed by a small team. It was worked on for about 2 months. This is not representative of the game. They have 6 full months of just pure polish before we get the game. 6 months is a very long time to dedicate to polish a game. I think everyone will let out a huge sigh of relief when they start playing the full game on launch day and see that it looks and plays great.

Final Fantasy doesn't need saving. Final Fantasy XV is a return to form. Also FFXVI is most likely in the works and I am betting Hiroyuki Itou is the one directing.

Even though they already came out and pretty much confirmed that it was three full games a few months ago tons of people caused a fiery sh** storm because they though the game was gonna be short 5 hour experiences instead of a full JRPG lenth set of games. They confirmed today it will be like the FFXIII trilogy where each part is a pull long game of 30+ hours. We should expect each game to be meaty.
