What kind of a game would the PS4 run with 16 gigs of ram and a 4 gig video card?
Just ask a PC gamer...
Just wait until VR is perfected...going to be a thousand times more scary than this.
As a 360/ps4 gamer, I must say, I enjoyed the Microsoft E3 much more than Sony's. They did a good job of showing that they are once committed to games first and foremost.
Not saying X1 will win this gen, but they sure as hell haven't completely lost it either.
I like both consoles, and think you really can't go wrong with either. Now it's time for some fresh new games that aren't sequels etc...that's what this gen is currently lack...
Not every game can be a creampuff MMORPG. If you want to play a fair and balanced game, play something that isn't channeling the spirit of The Walking Dead.
I love the tension of not knowing how a PC is going to react. Will he try and kill me? Will he help me? Should I run or fight?
You're gonna have to put on your big boy pants for this game.
I think it looks amazing for a MMO, and has quickly risen to the top of my must play list.
I've been waiting for this type of game for a long time...
Non-combat? That idea alone has me intrigued.
If true, I'm curious what the differences would be between this and the Oculus Rift.
Surprised that a brand new system with what, 16 times the ram of its predecessor, can't put out a 1080p game. Hard to drop 500 bucks on that...
Can they make a 1080p Angry Birds?
It's all about the games. Isn't that what ps fanboys have been saying for how long now?
Not to burst anyone's bubble, but if you really think PS4 is going to wipe the floor with Xbox One, you are in for a rude awakening. It's going to be a close contest, probably for several years.
So let's all stop acting like the PS4 has somehow been crowned the next gen champ when the systems haven't even come out yet.
Your Avatar brings back memories of every player who ever owned me in Gears...Still my favorite online of the console systems.
These are all great games. As an Xbox owner, Gears 1 and Mass Effect are all-time classics. Portal was fun too. Dumb article...
I think the new Xbox and PS4 will have enough similarities to make multiplatform games almost identical to one another. Especially for the first few years of the consoles' life cycle.
PS Killer was already taken?
I'm proud to say I'm still a fan of the Xbox, and am looking forward to the next system.
How many people here actually got to play the original? Many peeps consider it the best PC game ever. So this isn't exactly a shock.
Cant wait for this...I wonder how much better the PC version is than the 360? Or does the 360 look pretty close, graphics wise, to a mid range rig?
I love 3d, when it is done well, ala Avatar. The problem is, with most games it seems tacked on, something to attract the small percentage of people who want to show off there new 3d tv's.
But imagine if Valve, or a great developer, created a 3d first-person adventure game. Something very immersive and high quality--it would change a lot of gamers minds about the future of 3d gaming.
Once 3d tv's are everywhere, 3d will take off. It's inevitable.....
Could you imagine if this happened on Xbox Live? N4G would have 3 trillion anti Microsoft articles circulating this site for the next decade. Sony drops the ball and all I see on N4G is "Thank you Sony" and "Sony did an Amazing Job"...You people need to stop being fanboys and just admit what massive problem this is.
Thank You Sony
I'm actually finding this gen to be a bit of a letdown so far. Video games have gotten so popular (and expesive)they're becoming stale--using the same formulas and rarely taking chances.
