yeah the enemy respawns in FC2 were horrible, but what got me even more pissed was how much of an "open world" it actually wasn't.
After hearing the devs talk countless times about this completely open, expansive 50 square kilometers to explore, actually there are walls and hills everywhere you can't go over. I absolutely loved the first Bad Company, even the controls. Being able to switch from the M16 rifle to the M203 with a flip of R2 and put a giant hole on the side of the building, then run in and light everyone up was so satisfying. The destructible environments changed everything for me.

Besides navigating through the menus, and voice/facial recognition, Natal has absolutely no place with hardcore games. Natal will sell pretty well, and in the eyes of all Xbots, that's how it will be a success. But when it comes to revolutionizing games, it's gonna fail hard. I'll stick with my DualShock 3.

yeah, compared to some other games FC2 is open world. But look at GTA IV, sure you'll run into buildings going in any direction, but you can go on top of those buildings and basically set your foot on 100% of the city. FC2 is laid out to give you choices, and freedom to do what you want, that's what makes it an open world game. But when there's hills and things all around you that you can't traverse, your stuck with going down a path towards your objective or turn around and take the path all...
