Man...this sucks. I really wanted to play a game tomorrow too. I don't care if a game is on 360,PS3,Wii or any other game console, there's no room to hate. I just want good games to play and I was hoping this game would have been at least decent. I'm really hoping for the best in all 3 systems cause I just want as many friggin' games to play as I can get my hands on without having a dry spell. Right now I'm kinda dry.

I don't know why they are complaining about the textures...it's not the textures. The game looks beautiful. The only thing I'd be concerned about is the gameplay. I think that's the main reason for the delays is that they don't want to make the same mistake they made with Killzone 1 having mediocre gameplay so that's why they're delaying things to make the gameplay in KZ2 match the graphics. The graphics look incredible.
It seems rare left all their talent back when the n64 was around. I was hoping for so much more with this game but this honestly looks like a first gen 360 game if not worse. They need to hire some really good staff if they don't plan on ruining KI3!

Banjo-Kazooie was made in 1998. Ratchet and Clank back in 2002. Mario 64 and Banjo (nintendo/rare) pretty much invented the idea of these 3D platformers so credit goes to them.
wow...360 is a year older (meaning dated) than the PS3 but yet it's graphics look just as good. I'd have thought the PS3 being a year more advanced than the 360 and with better tech could make a better looking game but imo gears and killzone are pretty on par. With all the hype about PS3 being far superior I don't really know...360 is a dated system by a year to PS3 and yet I see no difference in graphical capabilities yet.

I'm sick of renting movies for my PS3...at least something is comming out instead of all these hype promises but nothing to show. I can finally have a game I'd wanna play on it now :)
No matter how good the game is and I know it'll be a good game on either system (PS3 or 360) but imo the graphics are still so mediocre. This war going on over which system is gonna play the game better is based off a game that doesn't even push either system to it's limits. It's like arguing over which system can play pong better...far fetched but you get the point.
All this talk about how Killzone 2 is gonna rock Gears of War 2 but honestly I'm kinda getting tired of all this talk and there's absolutely nothing to show for it. I mean, don't get me wrong I have a PS3 and would love for the game to actually stop beating around the bush and come out but I honestly doubt it will ever...they might as well can the thing because the hype behind it is dying from this huge delay and on top of that it's made by a company that produced the "amazing" KILL...
Couldn't Konami at least have made an animation for snake showing him putting the box over his body instead of it just popping out of nowhere? The movie reminds me of Splinter Cell a little. This game looks good though :)
It's sad how sony I'm guessing lied to Kojima about how far he could push the system (PS3) and what he "could" have it looking like in the final product, but only to realize he just wasn't able to accomplish what sony promised him he could. I mean, why else would he have his hopes set so high on a game and then not be able to reach those goals and have to come out with statements like this so close to it's release? It's not like he couldn't do it if the system were powerfull enough....
