Thanks for posting. I never give this site hits because it has the worst people running it. Or maybe I'm just not into what gamers like because to me xbox and ps3 did pretty good and it was Nintendo that was lacking.

I'm not so sure about the "well-respected EDGE magazine" part.
I've played for 30 mins on all three versions of the demo and these SS as always don't show how the PC version has not only higher res, textures, and frames but things like the draw distance is much farther away from you. If you jump off a cliff, like you do at the start of the demo, on the console versions you see everything start popping in front of you which doesn't happen on the PC. The shadows are much sharper and don't have that low res fuzzy look like the ps3 and xbox have. Also the ex...
I played this game's beta right before it launch and I thought it was terrible. I think had more fun making my character than I did playing it.
I had no problems downloading it or the two game packs on PC but there wasn't a game in it that I thought was worth even trying. It could be great in time but it needs some more recent games to get me to stick around and play. I would like see some games like 4 player xmen or simpsons or maybe some newer 90s games like NBA jam or killer instinct.
Mr Lookingbill is right. EA doesn't care and will just put out the same game like they always do. These SS don't even look good and they are clearly doctored because last years madden didn't have any kind of AA and it made the game was really jagged. These SS make the game look like it's running in a higher res than 720P with about 8x AA. I'll wait and see but I'm not getting my hopes up because I just don't have faith in EA anymore.

This site is all over the place with it's scores. They score games like Ninja Blade a 9.0 but give games like HR and MAG a 6.8. I guess they just have different tastes in games than most people...

I couldn't agree more. I'd rather back a game company that puts money into making great games than be a fan of company that is paying money to keep others from playing them.
