i hated the melee in Uncharted....so pointless in terms of fun and stradegy..
Including a blu-ray drive in the PS3 was Sony's biggest mistake, and the PS3's price was way to unattractive for that reason.

The spiderman is a freebee in the 40GB SKU, and to answer ur primary question the reason they dont do something like that is because they dont need to, the NA is the most thriving, they wouldnt need to go out of there way to make it exceedingly better than the other regions..
If it were a movie i'd buy it...the story is just awsome and i cannot wait to see how they tie up all the loose ends because i cant imagine how its possible
