Another racing game in 4K 60fps - sweet! But let's all realize that the racing games require so much less to run in such a way. Hopefully this can be a good start for other genres to try and adopt. The Pro and X have pretty dope GPU's but I have zero clue why they keep skimping on the CPU's in these consoles.

While I agree it's not cool to censor history, I also think it's just as whiny and lame to complain about the swastika being censored. Ultimately, whichever side of the fence you're on about the issue - the gameplay, storyline etc won't be affected. Why won't both sides just shut up and play? Whenever I see stuff like this I typically say to myself "well that's stupid" and keep it moving. I mean, the entire country of Germany has banned any imagery or usage o...

@naruga Look at all the games and exclusives coming to the PS4 in addition to the PSVR - I'd say they spent they're money quite well. The R&D for the PSVR also wasn't too hard on them, as most of the design, build and details were already done from the Sony HMZ-T2 Wearable HDTV 2D/3D they released years back. People always forget Sony is a very forward thinking company. They release products that end up being the foundation or lifeblood for future products. Compact Discs, Blu-...

What I don't understand is this. If a game retails for $60, and you go into your local GS or whatever - when you place your $5 or what have you, down for a pre-order, you get a pre-order bonus and then that $5 gets taken off the $60 cost of the game - how exactly are you being shafted? It's not like you're paying for the game in addition to the pre-order fee. And half the cars on this list nobody gives a damn about anyway. I think people just want to complain. In my eyes, there&#...

"Splatoon 2 was awesome but it was very, very similar to Splatoon 2." Minor, just wanted to give the heads up! Awesome article and coverage all around though!

Blu-Rays can hold over 50gb if they use dual layer discs. MGS4 utilized this feature, as the game was well over 100gb

Street date being broken out of "fear" of a stagnated backstock isn't what's happening here. Street dates on games being broken is nothing new whatsoever. I've been getting games weeks before release since the PS2 era. Many small game shops just can't compete with the larger chains. It helps build a loyal customer base and gives them an edge. Review embargoes etc got nothing to do with it.

Idk WiiU games did look nice. But I swear the majority (damn near all of them) always looked so blurry. Is it just me? Even the newer games like Pokken look like you're playing with your eyes slightly watering at times.

I've gotta say, with all the VR tech that's coming out/already available, Sony has done a good job at being the "common household name" in the department. It is the easiest form of the tech to ingest I suppose. But it also makes me wax nostalgic, and think back to when I was a kid and got my Virtual Boy. Friggan' thing used to give me a headache lol. But to see that early version and to look at all the companies trying to use it more commonly in the games space is cool. ...

Yeah. So many people exploited the games holes early on and became God Tier. By the time it was patched, it simply was almost impossible to catch up. It was so annoying, it got to the point where people would kill you in the DZ even though you weren't even carrying any items. It was just a big troll fest.

Wasn't The Evil Eithin third person? (Underrated title IMO btw)

*Edit* you did say relevant, and TEW def isn't relevant or genre defining so you're right.

+1 agreeing with you on silent hill

I take it no one played Golden Abyss. Sam is mentioned in that game.

@_-EDMIX-_ Actually, COD has always had pretty solid campaigns. Sure people play the games primarily for the multi, but the single player experience was always strong on COD.

Sony has consistently put out excellent games on PS+ though. Sure the PS4 has gotten indies but they've all been great. Sony gets a bad wrap when it comes to indies, but when MS does anything indie related people sing their praises. I own all Sony and MS consoles, and I gotta say the PS3/PS4 plus games have consistently been better on Sony's platforms. GwG has had it's moments, but PS+ games have got em beat dude.

PS Plus has given great games for years. The Xbox Gold games service has always lagged behind, lets be real. Finally a pretty good selection and suddenly Sony needs to step it up? #DontFeeTheTrolls
