This ^. It's mostly like the "C" stick of the GameCube controller. IGN just did a little video on their hands on with it, and they said it worked great and they loved it. Sounds like it's the perfect size/build for what it does.
That's fantastic! I hope they start doing this for other systems/games as well! I usually go by Amazon as they tend to follow the trend of price-drops and have many on their own, but this makes it even better!

You're right, I'm sure it has nothing to do with the disgusting amounts of money Activision is using to advertise the crap out of this game. Frankly, I thought the beta was a bit dull, and extremely repetitive. I'm hoping the final product proves me wrong.

Well maybe you should have preordered. Stores are allocated a certain number of copies based on preorders. If they get like 3 preorders, odds are they're only going to get 5, 6 copies because the company assumes there's no interest in that area. If you know you want it, throw five bucks down, get your free preorder bonuses, and pick it up when it comes out. Otherwise, order it on Amazon or something and stop complaining.
All consensus on reviews seems to be this year is actually worth a purchase. Looking forward to giving it a shot tomorrow!

I loved the second one, but am I the only one who loved the simplistic perfection of the original Geometry Wars more? No crazy game modes, waves, etc. Just one mode with increasing difficulty as you continued to move further. Either way, I never thought I'd see a third so this has me extremely excited!
It'd be like making an Inception 2... just don't ruin the perfect openness and shock of the ending. It'd definitely have to be different characters. I'd even be interested in the plot being about the father and his son (Sam and Henry I believe?) leading up to their meeting of Joel and Ellie before the son is killed and the father kills himself.

Ugghh, this is GTA all over again. Stop complaining Sony fans, you're making us look like whiny little brats. If you have an Xbox One, enjoy it when it comes out, I'm sure it'll be a great game that may tempt me to purchasing an Xbox One. It'll be great to see that and Uncharted head to head!
Any word on price? With the white bundle a month before for $400, I imagine this has to be $450 or something with the 1 TB hard drive.

GameStop follows pawn shop laws of whichever state the store is in. It's not on the choice of GameStop, it's on the choice of the law. That's why they require things like state ID's, etc. This is a reach for GameStop Bashing article if I've ever seen one.
