Can anyone answer this?
I've heard they are having Story DLC?
Will they do Story DLC that will progress the war stories covering the Pacific, d-day, eastern front, fall of Berlin ect?
Just curious cause I know the DLC will cover maps that organized by WW2 timeline. Are they doing the same with War Stories DLC?
This reminds me of the Crossroads episode of Band of Brothers.
Hoobler counts out his shots in the episode.
So 5 story chapters.
Prologue
Nordyls -Norway
Tirailleur -Colonial French West Africa
Under No Flag -British in North Africa
The Last Tiger (tank) -Berlin Germany
I'm happy some unknown aspects of the war are being explored. I'd still like the traditional stuff, Philippines, Iwo Jima, Normandy, Market-Garden, ect.
There have been a couple space sims come out recently and wanted to try it out...
How is No Man's Sky now days?
This is why my love for gaming is slowly dying. I have a health obsession with ww2 but BF seems to be focusing all their effort on multiplayer based on the trailers. I enjoy a strong single player story and they seem to be dying cause everyone is chasing some multiplayer/fortnite holy grail formula. :(
Go back to the gothic look of Diablo 2. The WoW look just doesn't look right.
The only one that makes sense on this list is the battle of the bulge. It was said this game will focus on d-day and the fight inland through France and into Germany.
Besides Bastogne, all other battles on this list are either before the June 6th invasion or in the wrong theater of op.
I'm looking forward to trying this on ps4, I too hope it releases soon.
Based off announcement trailers...
D1- vast universe you can explore and create your own experience.
Exciting! (Well we saw how that turned out)
D2- a guardian talks about his escapades in a childish pew, pew, pew, boom, loot speak.
Felt too on the nose, casual, pandering, childish, something. (Pass)
I want great stories the likes of last of us, battlefields 1 campaign, or horizon zero dawn. Give m...
Console achievements are by no means an obsession but they are part of my gaming, they give me something to reach for/expand my gaming.
My true obsession is Military History.
Does Meuse Argonne, Belleau Wood, Verdun, Somme, or Operation Michael mean anything to you?!?
I'm not up to date on bioware but the curiosity kills me.
What are the four disappointments? Thanks.
.
I'm all for inclusion ect. But where does one stop!? For example, would they think to represent the .00002% of the US population with Kallmann syndrome or is that not mainstream enough?
This thought always comes to mind when I read stuff like this...
People hate religion/racism/whatever, because they view it as judgmental. However those same SJW are being just as judgmental as those they claim to despise due to the original judging.
Why can't we all just get a long?
It's not that series cannot continue. I welcome more mass effect. But gamers do tend to talk about fatigue and wanting new IPs. Ultimately what I'm saying is no matter the series, after so many games the newness and wow factor kind of wear off. The first couple games of a series are always exciting cause you don't know what to expect, by the time of the 4,5,6 title (halo, cod, mass effect, ect) those feelings of what made the original unknowns so great is kind of lost. That's ...
The R&D time of proper consoles (not upgrades) is long enough that there is almost no way it can be "reactionary".
My concern is that it's "just more mass effect". What made the original great was its uniqueness. Like with the original halo trilogy, 4-5 havent faired as well. I just worry andromeda will miss that "wow" factor of something new.
Finally picked up the Witness for $20.
I still don't understand how you can call this a World War game and leave out half the globe. The Pacific theater is non existent in the story mode, and they had been fighting there since the early 30s. I just don't get it.
