Wasn't this just supposed to be a pick up and play game? Quick blast on the tube or bus? Fun, uncomplicated and simple with lush graphics etc.
Have they not achieved than in spades with this?
@dasbunker
agreed, a very well presented comment, nice to hear
i am unsure where to find any of these dynamic themes? Where is the free Afrika one or the others, are they on the US store only at the moment?
Any help would be gratefully recieved.
good game, lots of fun and more importantly a properly titled article, nice to see it stayed well away from the temptation to state which system sold more etc etc
very refreshing
ps did't notice any serious screen tearing myself
agreed 100%
'Then again, this is actually a very close sales split considering the installed base of Microsoft's console is almost twice as high as Sony's PS3 in the region'.
now why could this site not have made a title from this sentence? Might have stopped some of the more vitriolic comments on this string
no problems with either batman or uncharted for me, am sure for those who are it will be quickly dealt with
oh fantastic, so now anyone with an opinion that is different from yours should not be allowed to post on n4g?
its your money spend it how you like and just keep on justifying the price to yourself if it helps you sleep at night
oh dear how sad poor activision....sheds a few crocodile tears
ah phantom disagree'e.....dont you just love them :-)
@mr marbles
Like i say i have no beef with anyone here, i am a ps3 owner, but i play on my nephews 360 from time to time and have experience of both online services, for me there is no diff at all (based on what i use them for) and i will admit i prefer the way the psn looks and the ps3 UI functions.
When all said and done, its all personal opinion and as long as everyone is happy with what they...
@ elementX
wow where did all that venom and bile come from?
yeah right....it will never happen :)
its very interesting reading all the comments on here its almost like some people are trying to justify the costs to themselves, not anyone else....i pay for xbl, so it has to be the better online service....doesn't it?
personally i have never understood how or why a company as powerful or well off as Misrosoft ever started charging in the first place
me, i have no axe to grind anywhere on here, end of the day its your money (or your parents) spend it how you lik...
once i have purchased a game, it is mine, full stop. From that point on i am free to do with it as i choose. I always try to purchase my games new but i hate how much games cost these days so i tend to use patience and wait for a couple of months when i can usually pick up a game new for £20+ less than the original price. However, once i am done with that game i will trade it in as that saves me even more money.
I fully agree that the developer needs supporting however, when yo...
@ coolrah
the gaming world isnt the sole preserve of the US, you need to think a little before you post, there is a whole world out there, open an atlas and have a look, might suprise you.
Based on your narrow minded views i think you might want to look in a mirror to get a true defenition of 'retarded'
not sure about europe,but in the UK the TV licence covers the cost of the BBC and through that iPlayer, i think sevices from ITV etc as their commercial ones, might have a different set of rules...
i never watch ITV anyway so from a personal point its no loss but i hope you get what you want :-)
now there is a sequel worth making :-)
new IP's help innovate and keep the industry fresh and forward thinking but sequels to games help pay the bills and keep the wolves from the door
balance is key
lets face it Vista was generally poor and less capable systems suffered massively because of it however, whether we like it or not windows is here to stay. In the UK its so ingrained into the schooling system that i have to have at least one home laptop loaded with windows and office etc as thats what my kids use at school. personally my own laptop runs beautifully on Linux and from a personal point i will never go back to windows
