All that my friends will play is exactly those two games. I don't mind the genre, it's just that I hate the gameplay in Fifa and CoD. I much prefer PES and I much prefer any proper fps over the overrated CoD. One of my friends actually said that CoD has got to be one of the best games ever made. I just couldn't believe it.
None shooter multiplats consistently sell better on the ps3 when looking at worldwide numbers even with a smaller install base. This idea that ps3 games don't sell is just a popular misconception. I agree with your comment in general however.

Very true comment, the 360 gamers really will not mind at all. I can imagine however, that Omega4 is probably crying in the corner of a dark room right now. His name suggests he was a big mass effect fan. Poor guy.
It's much better than the first one, everything has been tweaked to make the game more enjoyable. Granted there are less RPG elements but it's one of the greatest games this gen. No it aint Uncharted, both are 3rd person shooters but that's where the similarities end. For some this game is better than Uncharted. I still can't decide which is better, but you don't have to. Just enjoy both of these unbelievable games.
If you haven't played it yet expect it to be incredibly awesome. Up there and as good as Uncharted2. I'm so happy this game is going to be experienced by so many more people with it coming to ps3, not that many 360 owners bought the game compared to other big series. I just don't like how fanboys twist it as some sort of victory. Gamers win here, not fanboys.

haha I love this, though my personal opinion is that kinect will sell well in the US and possibly the UK regardless of how good the product actually is. When something becomes a fad quality goes out the window as a reason for buying.

You shouldn't be afraid to like Halo. The logic is almost like if you don't have an xbox you must hate Halo. I personally think the series is overrated but that doesn't mean it's not great. I'm just gutted they stopped releasing them on PC, but rejoice, next term my flat mate will have a 360. Looking forward to trying Halo Reach.
You two guys both make very good arguments but I think I agree with matrix just because I happen to dislike the two games that everyone loves so much and therefore would prefer if people would buy more innovative games, not that people are wrong in not doing so. Also Venatus' point I think might be a fallacy of majority belief.
