as for RE not working on Nintendo consoles & recent platform sales, i dont remember many being to into of resident evil 5, 6, or umbrella corps. and those games were never on nintnedo consoles to even say that that dont do well.

Resident Evil 7 file size is..
22.2GB on PS4, 20.4GB on Xbox One, & around 24GB? on PC.
Switch Carts "For Now" hold up to 32GB perhaps in the future more, but 32GB is more than enough to hold ResidentEvil7..
also PS4/XBone/PC require you to install the games. Nintendo Switch Doesn't..
then you have to think about Switch Using different Specs & Nintendo games usually have better compression than PS/XBox/PC versions so obvi...
its 2017 can we really stop making excuses for 3rd party & multi plat games to not come to Nintendo consoles?
in the Nintendo Switch development Capcom approached Nintendo to put more RAM in Switch Console so they could port the ResidentEvil Engine & Nintendo did. why would Capcom ask Nintendo to do that, then Nintendo does it just to not make the game?
& for those whining about game sizes, do you really think game size will stop that?

why force people to buy the console at a higher price for a part(Ethernet port) they may not use, just give them the option to add it via USB.
same for storage, why make someone buy a console for a higher price, why not just give them the option to add SD cards & HHD/SSD storage via USB as needed. (like WiiU & Switch will do + the internal storage)

Meanwhile noone has came to the realization that switch will be compatible with any USB LAN adapter like Wii & wiiu was. Meaning that you can use a 3$ LAN USB adapter from eBay.
