Uhm how about they fix the BIG things first like squads splitting up (I can't play with 2 or 3 of my buddies we get split up). Voice chat being completely brokem, so choppy. It's a team based game, those 2 HUGE problems have stopped myself and a few of my buddies from playing at all right now.
...if they patch it to fix the many problems maybe.
I actually find it hard to enjoy other games now that I've seen how well a developer can put together a cinematic story in a game. Thanks ND, you've raised my standards!

You're probably right but it doesn't change the fact that if they kept that theme/style to the DLC it would've been awesome and I'm sure a lot of people would have bought it.

Yeap, big waste of time IMO.
But instead they wasted all that time on the "Move" capabilities.
I played the first and only DLC The Taxidermist and thought it was really, really well done especially being able to play it multiple times, each time playing it differently and noticing the AI react to your different actions.
After putting an hour in SP and co-op all I can say is a big MEH especially now that I'm enjoying Uncharted 3 SP... WOW now that's an amazing campaign. My girlfriend is watching me play it because she says she thinks it's almost like watching a movie. How am I supposed to go play the generic SP campaign in BF3 after Uncharted? You'd be crazy!
I agree I'm huge into Conquest in Battlefield. I tried TDM and found it to get stale really quickly. Spawn, run, gun, die. Spawn, run, gun, die. The maps are smaller and you can't spawn on your teammates, it's just not how Battlefield was meant to be played.
Totally agree, EA really pushed DICE to make so many bad decisions. They really shouldn't have wasted time on a co-op campaign, it's so generic I wish the time would have been spent to make the MP playable which it's NOT right now: voice chat broken and squad keeps splitting up on PS3. So many more things I could list.
I heard it wasn't good so I played it myself and I found it really wasn't that good at all.
I don't blame you, was going to hit the MP really hard for a few weeks/months but it needs so many fixes I think it could be a few weeks before DICE fixes it properly (on PS3). I was going to get Uncharted 3 at Christmas but now I'm getting it Day 1 because the SP and co-op in BF3 is pretty lame.
For the better I assume you mean? I've been reading a lot of problems from the PC side but maybe they're a small few complaining?
The game just feels so much better but so much worse than Bad Company 2. The engine and maps are better but the weapon/menu UI is just painful.
Squad splitting up: DICE's solution is to tell you to use their server browser to find a round that isn't close to full. Uhm DICE, I tried that and it doesn't work. All ...
So many bugs, voice chat still completely useless on PS3. So disappointed in DICE with SP and co-op as well. We all knew it wasn't going to be anything special but I didn't expect them both to feel so generic.
I only put an hour into the game so far and found some rather annoying check/save points. Tried co-op and wasn't impressed with that either... both felt so generic and "meh". Really wish they didn't waste time on both of those as MP needs a lot of work right now.

Maybe you play on your own or just with 1 buddy so you're okay. Trying setting up a squad with 2 or 3 buddies and it splits you up. Not very fun trying to get a squad setup and then getting put on different teams.
Voice chat is broken, with 1 other person maybe it's not so bad but try chatting with the other 3 people in your squad and you have to mute your buddies because the stutter is so bad.
