Okay so it's actually in beta now first of all. Secondly the things I listed are part of the core of the game. It would REQUIRE MASSIVE overhauls to fix or change the card system. For Honor was in alpha, I played that too. It was well balanced and had some of the best combat on any game I've played. The overwatch beta was practically ready for launch. Just because it's an alpha isn't an excuse for poor design choices.
Honestly I played paragon during the alpha and into the beta and it is decent, but it is NOT blowing up the moba scene. The card system is clunky, matches take too long, and movement feels slow outside of "travel mode". The only part of moba it is revolutionizing is adding verticality and prettier graphics. If the rest of the game falls in behind the two things it does well, THEN I'll consider it to be anything more than average.
My girl was going to get it for me lol but thanks for the vote of confidence mate.
Honestly I played the first closed alpha, and believe the hype. Best combat I've experienced in any game, ever. I used to be the guy that hated on watch dogs and talked people out of buying assassin's creed but what I've experienced of this Ubisoft game was nothing short of incredible. It'll be a happy Valentines day indeed next year.
Ps4 update isn't out until Wednesday. And hopefully pc account transfer in the next week or so :).
Patch is releasing slightly later because they're adding trophy support.
Well, if psvr is your selling point then that's one expensive shopping trip. The psvr is more likely to sell to people who already own a ps4 since it's essentially the same price as buying another ps4 lol. For casual consumers Sony will have to remember to focus on people who may not be in a position to shell out the extra 400-600.
I think even more I've been looking for website articles with only one page.
This is getting out of hand lol.
Battlenet only if you have a pc. Console is only linked to your network/live account.
On or before June 21st this year :) unless it receives another delay.
Based on how well diablo was accepted by console players overwatch probably won't be different. This game is easily the best looking class based shooter that's releasing this year.
Such a well written article. Very nice job.
Personally, this is one of the most compelling, story - driven games I've played in a long time.
Definitely left me wanting more.
The blue is some kind of mana if I remember correctly. They wanted to give magic users a finite resource to draw from to be able to cast spells? Or it might have been a limited number of spell uses can't exactly remember what it was I read on it.
Might have to jump on the buy 2 get 1 free.
Obviously I can't say everything with the nda in place, but it takes the best parts of games like smite and unreal tournament and league of legends and paladins and meshes it all into one game. The deck building system is complicated at first, but read a bit and you're good to go! :)
Absolutely love this game.
Yeah it shows something huge: those breasts.
Really hoping this game is good lol
Agreed. I got to play this at the playstation experience and spent two hours just playing a demo and I apperently only finished 1/5th of the puzzles IN THE DEMO.
If you like puzzles this is definitely worth the 40.
@donutboy honestly I don't really want a short experience when I play an rpg so I typically go for the larger titles, but things like bastion and Transistor weren't too long but we're definitely worth the play through, so there are exceptions, but I've heard people say there is too much to do in games like the witcher or dragon age or fallout and it just always seemed silly. The main point I was trying to make is that it's important to me to feel like I got my money's ...
Besides For Honor this was the most exciting ubi game for me this year
