Or he only thought it was OK? I thought people were allowed varied opinions in review.
I think playing a Forza a year is mad, and boring. I'm a petrolhead, a gamer, yet haven't bothered much with racing games since GT3.
Feel the same about beat em ups these days too.
Guess what? You don't have to agree.
This idea that any games must have universally good reviews is very childish
.
"I just couldn't stomach how poorly told the pacing of which it was told."
Yeah, writing can be really difficult.
Before you get upset, I'm just taking the piss. Easy to mess up a sentence here and there when typing quickly on N4g.
I don't understand why so many people need agrees for validation of their opinions.
We don't all like the same stuff, and that is a good thing.
The worrying thing For Xbox, if VG Charts are remotely close ( may not be), is weekly software sales have a bigger disparity than hardware.
"Slightly better image quality and a closer lock on to the target 30fps update puts the PS4 version in prime position here, though the Xbox One game offers an almost identical experience for the majority of the duration."
Says it right there, by the way. You need to actually read it before declaring your favourite console the winner.
So does that mean they will never have a better software line up than this year? I'll never buy one. All the games come to my PC anyway ( with better performance).
Sony may be smarter than some Xbox fans may think. Look at it from a business perspective. Lots of the Xbox games launching, play to existing owners (Halo, Fable, Forza). Time Raider is the biggest title in some ways, but it's coming to PS4.
The problem for MS could be that if it's 1st party do sell well, it will likely further weaken 3rd party sales. These are already way short of the competition. The alternative is that 3rd party sales match the competition ( respective...
You need to get out more if that is what gets your knickers in a bunch.
Don't hybrid / SSDs improve performance? Pretty sure Digital Foundry said they did.
People complained last gen that PS3 updated all the time, and how 360 getting a couple a year was much better. Now they complain there aren't enough updates. Most of XB1 updates that came in first 18 months were parity catch up to PS4 features. Gamers are nothing if not fickle and self important ( why haven't they done my features. They are the important ones) .
Thing is, they work from a list and know actual requested features. They don't work from your list. I couldn't give a stuff about external HDD. I needed cloud storage
I have all 3 PS systems and ran out of space months ago.
I need that. Each Minecraft world my kids make takes up a boat load
According to Digital Foundry, you've made an error.
It will get a pass because this game played like Heavy Rain. It's not an action game. I've found it to get perfectly responsive for it's game play style. Then again, Xbox fans do the have any games like this, so maybe they don't understand.
Incorrect
My business partner got PS4 first ( for eldest son) and XB1 2nd (for younger aon). He couldn't give a stuff about consoles or console Wars. When he tried to use XB1, his first response was shock at "just how bad the XB1 UI is. Awful".
Honestly now, who cares? I'm more interested in the fact that my console of choice (PS4), has the best games (according to aggregation and my opinion), the most games (I don't care about the publishing level, as long as there's a mix), the most varied games (impossible to argue if you use logic at all) and technically the most advanced games 85% of the time.
Resolution does not matter. Overall visual quality does.
Troll
Surely it's all about game quality.
All these Xb1 fans claim that's why they buy the console. You wouldn't based on many other reasons.
By your rationale, why would anyone buy an Xbox. PS4 is better hardware.
This and Crackdown are the most appealing XB1 games so far.
However, this will not be technically superior to Uncharted or Horizon . Anyone that thinks that is mad. This looks a lot like Infamous Second Son in the demo from Gamescom. That is not a bad thing. Infamous looks /is great.
I think the reaction to this is another illustration of differences between Xb1/ PS4 owners. I'd rather have new and interesting (indie or AAA), but XB1 owners see AAA only as a win, even if they are old.
Then again, Xbox owners do like the same games again and again (and I do know that some of them are good games. I'm not a to Xbox games. Just pointing out why I prefer PlayStation. More new things).
Actually, there are a few that didn't love it. Eurogamer seem a bit like warm too.
Game looks very pretty, but does nothing for me.
