I guess you could call it that. :)
I just wanted to share my experience and talk about videogames a little. :D
I agree. I didn't think it would change too much, but it really does add a whole new level of gameplay. It's brilliant.
And I can't stop taking screenshots in first-person mode, it's just a beautiful game. :D
The greatest mobile game series of all time. Only one issue... microtransactions for more heroes. :(
They've integrated it with the Oculus Rift now.
You're probably right!
It's the trade-off with bigger developers/publishers unfortunately - MONEY RULES ALL DECISIONS. On an individual level the devs no-doubt still have passion and drive to deliver the best content they can, but as you work up the chain of commanded to the ones pulling the purse strings, you lose a lot of that and it becomes pure financial gain at the cost of quality. Capitalism. :(
4th November 2014 is the date pre-loading of the game can be done, no?
It's crazy fun eh! I loved it for those 'feels' it gave me, but most importantly it's fun factor. More exclusives like this please, Nintendo! :D
I agree with most of the points you make here. A fair review.
I feel the story is where the game fell short for many people, whereas I felt it was more a prologue to what we can expect over the next ten years - a tease of information here and there, prompting us to ask more questions of what it's all about. But, if people, or journalists, were expecting a 'complete game' or full story here, they would certainly be disappointed.
I understand this g...
A deadline, yes, but that doesn't always limit their delivery of the review.
I can only speak for myself, but I make sure I play games I review on 'normal' difficulty (if available) at minimum, complete the main story, and sample at least some of what the side-missions and other content has to offer. But it depends on the type of game too, of course. :)
I understand what the article is trying to do, but it seems like a snapshot from about 20 years go. This 'Mary' needs to hang out with people who'll accept her for who she is - assuming they 'reject' her if they find out about her 'dirty little secret'. :P
Blatant tribute. :P
I'm with you on the zombies thing - I feel Extinction mode is a much more robust feature to the game, but I felt zombies was a little random and confusing at times.
I've yet to see real evidence of why it 'sucks' too.
It's not a ground-breaking game, that's obvious, but it uses elements from other games and genres well.
The story and setting are solid, the soundtrack is on par with a blockbuster movie, and having loot/raid-like content/exploration means you'll want to play more and more to level and define your characters.
It left me wanting more, which is a good sign.
A couple of years back I was in the same boat as you. Now, I'm a huge player and fan of the game and the tournaments.
Have you tried the game out? :)
I played Discworld 2, that was great! :D
This was a somewhat closed beta. I believe they're offering another one closer to release that'll be open to all.
It's a good game in it's own right, but I know what you mean - I can sympathise with people who actual bought BF4. :/
Would you have preferred to see it as DLC? The game does come with a Single Player mode, but are people really buying it for that?
Not too sure of the work involved, so whether it'd be easy or not, I don't know. But the single player does sound interesting, so perhaps that could be something to be excited about?
Timesplitters! Now there was a game... they made three of those, right? I used to love the multiplayer, so many fond memories. :D
It's possible to do them all with random players, but you'll have a much more fun, and less frustrating, time with friends. By all means play heists, they're great fun! :D
