I disagree. I would be part of that market, and i'm pretty sure it would help establish the vita with a far bigger install base, which is what it needs.
Since it's insides are also powerful phone components (cpu, gpu, ram) - It would be easy to have it as a phone.
The reason why people don't play on their phones is because the touch screen is incapable of providing the proper tentactive feel that a controller would... And you don't wanna cover up the w...
A vita phone that can clap down to become a regular android phone, and clap up to become a fully featured vita.. Not a half assed attempt like the xperia play- but the actual vita, just with added phone capabilities and clap down (among other things, it would protect the analogues).. That's what I think they need to do to save it.. Atleast it'd make me want to buy one :P

Like many others here, I think that the AI can be frustratingly cheap in TTT2. I have every single playstation released Tekken sans the psp version of Tekken 6, and the non online enabled psn version of tekken 5 (only because it was pulled before i got a ps3)... oh.. and Tekken Hybrid :P I don't really see any difference in the opponents whether you play on easy or ultra hard in this game.. The thing about the voiceactors is pretty interesting. They did a good job masking it.
There's a severe lack of disc golf in the sequel. I realize its about new sports types, but still. I play disc golf often with friends, and the lack of additional levels suck :p

I think you misunderstand me. Sony made gaming mainstream and more than a kids toy in the eyes of the mainstream. It made consoles common and something more than your child was playing. That has little to do with CD's, sure, they were part of it, but much more of it was the branding, that they made it "cool" like iphones are "cool" today.
(saying it was a kids toy does not mean only kids played it. Rather, it means that it was seen as such by the mains...
While Nintendo reintroduced home consoles, Sony brought them into the living room. They were the ones who made it more than a kids toy.
Both companies have had major impacts on the market.

On a serious note, I would expect to see this in something like free to play games. Not in games that they actually charge for. The backlash would be humongous and threaten their buisness.

Haven't you played the old Tekken games? These are characters from Tekken 2 and 3. The reason their styles are so familiar, with particularly Michelle and angel, is that later characters were built on them. For instance, Julia, being Michelles daughter, inherited many of her moves. - Devil and Angel were the different skins for Devil. Angel was a bonus character which had her own ending.

You realize of-course that Nintendo likely made a lot more on the 3ds when it was 250 than Sony is on the vita right ?.. Nintendo dropped the price, but only because poor sales were forcing them to.

From a gameplay video i saw on youtube i gotta say that it does look really interesting. Hoping for more interesting weapons than ones that use fuse though and a good story that's hopefully set in an interesting universe. .. And RPG elements !
