Because its not a real Resident Evil game. Had it been released as an original title then gamers would have been a little more forgiving, but instead its a Resident Evil game that feels more like Call of Duty.
I say the material provided is a fake. However a futuristic Battlefield is more believable than a WWI setting. Even though most gamers might prefer a new setting over the current future war trend, EA is unlikely to make a gamble and be different.

I'm on the fence about VR, I would love to play Metal Gear Solid and GTA V in VR. However I'm also concern that it may just be a fad like motion controls because gamers are just gonna go back to playing the old fashion way.
