@caseh

Considering the Metal Gear Online servers closed in June, I really doubt that.

Anyone know if there will be a live stream for Gamescom? Preferably conferences.

Why is everyone so caught up on remaking games? Just put the effort into making Versus XIII and FFXIV the best possible games they can be.

Are you... serious?

Epic Games isn't Microsoft, and pay to play and ads are all paying for the services on live.

Writing everything off to greed doesn't really prove anything.

I think you're joking but either way, definitely just a metaphor.

And THANK GOD they got rid of the soccer mom.

It's unfortunate that Christianity gets such a bad name. I'm not sure what i am religiously, but i have a profound respect for the religion, and the teachings in the bible.

It should be seen for it's views and ideals, not for it's extremists.

Lets hope this article doesn't spawn a religion argument. Those get bad quick.

I wonder which way it goes. It used to be taboo to go against Christianity, but in recent times it seems almost like more are against it than for it. Especially the demographics that play video games.

He should have made a game about androgynous men who whine and run around naked. Blurring the lines between gender.

Oh wait.

You aren't living up to your name very well. I expected some form of conspiracy theory. I'm disappointed. :(

Because some people like to have the new versions of things. How was i supposed to know about the Lite, the DSi, the XL, and now the 3DS? I like to have the most current version of the things i use often, so that i'm not missing out on features. It is my own fault, i never said it wasn't. I just don't think that we need 5 DSs, or 4 PSPs. We didn't see it in previous generations.

"Total sales of consoles -- Microsoft's (MSFT) Xbox, Sony's (SNE) PS3 and Nintendo's (NTDOY) Wii -- are in decline. Overall, the U.S. games business is down 11% this year, and industry revenues shrank by 8% in 2009 to $19.7 billion, according to industry research group NPD."

Because we're 4 damn years into the generation. HURRRRRR. Did these guys even think about this for 30 seconds before writing this? Console sales naturally decline over time, j...

I really can't see how it'll be much fun to play games with. You can't move. The only way you can move is in a constant motion game like a racer, and even then you can't break or shift or anything that makes racers fun.

Without moving, you really cant have any form of an adventure, RPG, off rails shooter, or even sport (aside from one where you never move.)

You really need buttons to play games, and without them, it's just a gimmick.

My only problem with the UI aspects is that it takes longer. Saying commands out loud, or hovering your hand over and option for 3 seconds both take longer than hitting the "confirm" button on a controller.

And chances are you're going to have the controller in your hands already if you plan to play a non-Kinect game. I do think it's something worth experimenting in, but as it's shown so far, it seems like an inconvenience.

I also wond...

They do compete, i didn't mean it that way. But they both go after different demographics with their handhelds. Each appeals to a fairly different market, so both consoles are able to do well. It's sort of like the Wii and PS3. They do compete, but both can survive with their own market.

And i haven't purchased a new PSP since the original. The only game i've played on my PSP in a long time was Peace Walker. I didn't mean to make it sound like these ...
