What MS are doing is saying screw all the other cheaper, better, more advanced options. Buy our $500 machine + ongoing subscription instead.

This could very well be the release date to counteract Sony however it does seem undeniably rushed which could cause MS even more problems.
The gameplay animations still look horrible and clunky though.
