Cannot wait for this game. The first two Mario and Luigi rpgs were great. I remember spending hours trying to master the koopa shell attack where Mario would kick, damage the enemy, then the shell goes to Luigi, he kicks, damages the enemy and it keeps going on while speeding up until the enemy is defeated or the shell gets away. LOL. mad fun.

I know exactly how square-enix can redeem themselves. Bring Xenogears, SaGa Frontier, and SaGa Frontier 2, and Vagrant Story to the PSN. I'll be happy for at least a few years (that's how much longer they're probably going to take to finish FF XIII anyway).
I mean c'mon square-enix has already released Xenogears AND Einheinder on the Japanese PSN. Does S-E really hate SCEA and SCEE? I mean, damn.

Square-Enix never stated a release date, but they sure are being bullish about FF XIII. A little refresher on the release of Final Fantasy XII:

Final Fantasy XII had multiple delays and was released six months in the US after it was released in Japan. There was a lot of voice acting. I could just imagine how long its going to take to get all the voice work done for the US and Europe.

I said it once and I'll say it again, all three previous Star Oceans were bad. The only good game developer tri-Ace ever made was Valkyrie Profile.
With that being said, there has to be a reason why Sqeenix are still employing these guys, and I'm hoping they redeem themselves with Star Ocean 4. I'll rent SO4 and take it from there, until then, please guys - stop fighting over who gets the game or not. It's sickening.

Star Ocean 3 IS really bad. To say that developer tri-Ace never made a good game is crazy talk man. They made ONE: Valkyrie Profile.
Enchanted Arms came out on the PS3 though. Just sayin', but you're right, it doesn't matter. I'm still skeptical about this title though because of SO3. The only great, fantastic, super awesome RPG Tri-Ace ever made, in my own personal opinion - please don't flame me, was Valkyrie Profile and I really hope, for their sake that they strike again with this one.

Am I missing something? Before the fanboys even knew about this game it was announced as a PS3 title, and even after the announced 360-exclusivity, Square did say that it would be released on the PS3...hmmm...Anyway, I have an itch for next-gen rpg's. I'll check this one out. I'm praying the story doesn't suck as much as Till the End of Time did (and that awwwwwwful voice acting).
With all these RPG's coming out, why do people shun the series that has delivered consistently? I'm talkin...

Man I can't wait for either titles. I think Final Fantasy XIII will be my first import in a very long time because if Final Fantasy XIII is better than or something close to XII then it's a definite buy for me. Now before you guys smite me for saying that Final Fantasy XII was great hear me out. FF 12 was a huge step in the franchise. Excellent spells, unique uses for the espers, that nostalgic feeling when you hear the music, and so much more. I mean how awesome was that Reverse spell? c'mon...
I don't want to wait until the 360 version is finished so that I can play Final Fantasy 13 on my PS3...
Bringing it to the 360 makes sense, and I'm glad the 360 owners will be able to play the game; Just don't make me wait for the 360 port to be finished, that's all I ask for Square!

Knowing what S-E is capable of on the PSP through Crisis Core, I bet this game is going to be/look badass. I did however read somewhere that the battle system is going to be different. I loved the OG Parasite Eve battle system. I hope they don't screw it up.
