if you have ever used the otheros you would know you have very limited access to the cell. its not even a super computer in the hands of a regular joe. theres a limit to access memory and spu and the gpu. stating your losing a supercompter is blown way out of portion. does it have the capablitiy yes (folding at home)do we have access to it? are they going to make everyone download the games. Most gamers like to buy hard copys. There gotta be some other mode to buy it in store.. i will this take as a grain of salt
i usually like hiphopgamers articles and usually agree but this time i will have disagree. I admit i have not logged in as much but i was on today and there is still tons of people using home. they have special events which attracting so there not leaving home hanging. If they ever do put all the features they said they would, i can see home as a good portal to meet and launch games with friends.

Some games unlock free clothes to use on your avatar. Sony has already implemented this. We even get arcade machines to put in our home space.

Games like Socom Confrontation rely on strategy and having people commuicate while there dead would make the game less fun.
i know people use skype to achieve this and its not fun playing with people who use it

the reason why its optional for the X360 is probably because not all X360 Consoles come with HDD. If it was mandatory then those people get screwed, then more flaming. so stop using the optional card because its impossible for MS to implement mandatory cause it would anger lots of Core console gamers.

my friend and I are actually looking forward to this game on PS3. the cost of upgrading my computer every year sucks. plus everybody playing the game will have the same specs so graphics will be the same. i always had to play at minimum performance settings cause my computer could never play at high res.
If does become a security problem i hope sony can fix this.
If it comes to it ,resign new keys which would bring you to the updated firmware(if possible new bootloader loaders etc. we dont know what can sony can do) Old games and apps that do not work will get a universal message to go to the PS Store and update a Required patch for your specic game. an automatic redownload of all your download content.
