I don't know how you derived at that conclusion playing the game. I just finished the game myself. I don't feel like all males had to get killed after all Tommy made it alive. I think the message was the eye for an eye thing with everyone blind but there were literally only 3 women in the game that survived.

I played both honestly can’t remember which I liked better because I was like 7 at the time and life was just about playing not about which was better
I can’t remember the last time I bought physical copy of a game. The ONLY time I buy physical copy is when I intend to give it away to a friend when I’m done. I don’t need rack to keep my cds in fact I have been buying mostly digital since late PS3 cycle. I understand everyone has their preferences but the value of physical disc just isn’t that great for me

Don’t sleep on Xbox they have a lot of money behind them and experienced ppl in the game industry. Microsoft lost this gen because they attempted the same formula they worked last time
All this stuff is weak bs corporate propaganda. I remember last gen PS3 was the open console allowing for mods and stuff on the console and don’t talked it up while ms evaded the issue in the end nothing changed. Ms offering cross play is great for them Sony won’t be doing it though
This would be the most likely scenario. First to market is a clear advantage as well as power and graphical requirements. Key thing will be balancing power advantage with first to market. I expect the Xbox to come first and ps5 to come shortly after in order not to give Microsoft too much of an advantage with first to market.
I really miss dead space especially as resident evil went the more action route this was best survival horror game out there. 3 was borderline garbage but 1&2 were great very disappointed we haven’t gotten a 4 yet. I think this game a new resistance game and Warhawk are what I wish most from PS3 era
I think history begs to differ is more accurate. As in Microsoft has a history of purchasing first party studios that don’t turn out so great in the end.

What gamers REALLY want is great games and more of them. Doesn’t really matter if it’s exclusive or not. Everything else is icing on the cake. They nailed this aspect last gen but somehow have forgotten what they are doing

I finished the game ignoring most of the side quests so I don’t really know what this guy is talking about. I didn’t really see this as an open world game just a big world rpg it’s not like there are unlimited enemies you can fight (or are there?) I just beat the game and I’m about to dive into the side quests now mostly because the game is too awesome otherwise I wouldn’t even bother.
A good game is a good game regardless if the genre is played out. I think FPS is done to death but I still play a few mostly destiny because I think it’s fun and has nice cool features. I also like that it’s not FPS because most zombie open world that I have played have been FPS. It would be really really cool of them to add coop though but im sure they won’t:(
They put out a pretty decent perfect dark though.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and I don’t feel anyone needs to defend god of war the game honestly stands for itself. This game is amazing. A true evolution of a game. This is like jump from mgs1 to mgs2/mgs3. Just amazing
Just started playing. Huge fan of the original. Still think 2 is the best but this might top it (still playing). I will say that for me this was how I felt when I played Mario 64 for the first time after spending so much time on super mario world. Just feels like such a perfect evolution of the game.
Same camp. There isn't even a manageable launch title. Seems like neither company is really ready for next gen but they are both caught in a cycle of trying not to fall behind to the competition. Regardless of how great the consoles are there isn't a title that is ready to showcase the system. I will definitely be waiting very patiently with the ps5 or new xbox
