I purchased this game at launch, it is good. I picked up Uncharted 4 a week before that. Although I didn't enjoy TLG as much as the 2 previous Ueda games I still finished it in a couple of sessions. Uncharted 4 is stopped at mission 11 with me having no real desire to go back although I will, in fact The Last Guardian is perhaps the only PS4 title I have finished?
(I don't have many PS4 titles actually. MGSV and the Witcher stories are nearly finished)
PS3 should maybe be on the list? 2 Cell Processors, dual HDMI outputs ect

Ummm.... day one patches, updates, and installs are a breeze with PS4. It all happens in the background and has never impacted on my use of the console. I would seperate this from incomplete games though.

Wii was a gimmick, a successful gimmick. Most that were bought were played by familys at Christmas ect then put in the Attic.
They will never enjoy that success again unless they deliver a great console. Or a VR system superior to the others in development,-won't happen!

I honestly believe that this new console will be crap, this information paints a bad picture. If they really use decent chips then the cost goes up. Great. You get what you pay for. But then they would have to add crap controllers/mobile devices to keep the costs under control, just like WiiU.
They could go all in and make a great console with great peripheral add-ons, sell it at a loss to get market share. They must still have billions in the account even after WiiU. But they are not...
At least some of those notices were already in the game!

People know that PS4 has killer titles in development. But to call a last gen game a 'Big Exclusive' is a bit weak!

I would have enjoyed Anime cuscenes such as in Peace Walker and Portable Ops. I found them to be atmospheric with great voice acting and sounds.
What hidden story content?
And, We were shown great cinematic sequences in the lead up to this game..... only to find we had seen ALL cinematic sequences of the game!
Even if this 4th ending was true, it still would not add to the overall lack of narrative content we fans of the series expect.

If they are so confident then why not create a new ip using Fox Engine. Rip off MGS and others, sure, go for it. But let MGS end now.

I rate them in the order of release, 1 is my favourite, 2 next ect. Except 4 that failed to live up to promises, although its MGS so still ace.
They were games of their time. To anybody who missed them then MGSV is probably the only choice. To go play MGS from PS1 or PS2 today would fail to give the player the feelings we got back when they released.
I only just purchased this game. I read all of the reviews and understood how boring and rubbish it was, but I was still surprised at how bad it is. I bought the game because I was desperate for a Space Exploration type game. The universe lacks depth, interaction and it seems so empty. You are on a planets surface and a group of ships enticingly fly over head..... for what? You cannot fly with them, communicate or interact. On freighters and space stations the NPCs are boring.
